"Piece, quiet and relaxed. Immaculate house and gardens with great pool. Everything that could be needed was in the house. No noisy neighbours or busy roads. Walking distance to the river creuse and waterfalls. Marc the owner was at the end of the phone if needed and messaged a couple of time to make sure everything was fine and was there to meet us and show us the layout on arrival. Could not fault."

"Das Haus liegt direkt am See und es gibt keine Geräusche von der Straße, es sei denn der Bauer pflügt das Feld. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt auch an kälteren Tagen, denn die Klima lief perfekt. Das Grundstück und der See sind einfach wunderschön. Langeweile kam nicht auf obwohl es " weit vom Schuss" ist. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in ca.20 km Entfernung. Sehenswürdigkeiten sind ab ca. 30 Minuten erreichbar. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und sehr gut erreichbar. Wir würden das Objekt jederzeit...

"Just wow. Firstly the photos didnt show just how big it acually is, we were blown away. We had an wonderful week staying at this beautiful house with our 2 boys, 8 and 10, and our sausage dog too. The area is so peaceful, the views were gorgeous. The property is secure so our children and pup were free to roam around whilst we relaxed. The pool was great with steps to get in and bigger than expected too. The children loved it. Isabelle who we met when we arrived was so lovely and very helpful...

"Nous avons passé un séjour excellent dans ce très beau domaine très bien restauré avec le charme de l'ancien. Le domaine permet de se reposer au calme et de profiter des multiples activités comme la piscine, la pêche, le tennis...et des alentours avec de belles marches à faire et des châteaux à visiter. Gîte fonctionnel avec machine à laver et sèche linge très pratiques ainsi que le linge fourni. Literie de qualité. Enfin accueil très sympathique des propriétaires disponibles et discrets, merci...

"The location of the hotel (at the end of the motorway) is perfect. It was incredibly clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. It has very limited facilities eg no gym or relaxation area. Breakfast was limited for our UK palette, eg the only egg option was boiled and you had to do it yourself, so it was not worth (in my view), the £13 pp additional charge. There were also no options for evening dining on site and as our stay included a Sunday and everywhere was closed it caused us...

"At first we thought it was a derelict house, nothing to look at from the street, but inside it was something else. A beautiful old house, modern bathroom, first class toiletries warm towels, excellent bed, crisp white linens. Super quiet. Lovely breakfast including homemade jams with fruits from the garden. The hosts were very nice, friendly and helpful. If you want to watch TV, this is not for you as there was no TV in the room, but do you really need one? We would say there again. "
