Hosts are lovely and responded quickly when bathroom sink sprang a leak A reminder that being surrounded by vineyards is beautiful but includes early morning industry noise of people and machinery at work. I'm not a Princess but... the Moulin interior decor was somewhat disappointing - nasty plastic storage cupboards in kitchen and bathroom really cheapen the look which could easily be made more ' luxurious' with a visit to a Brocant and a little...

They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything setup for our infant son, gave many great local recommendations and lead us through a wine tasting. “The former wine cellar stay was very much like we wanted. Some rustiness but plenty modern with all the conviences. we cooked often and enjoyed eating on the patio. It is secluded and quiet - a good 20 minutes from the city, but we enjoyed it. Jean Micheal was great with instructions and communications even though he was on holiday in Italy. Would book again for sure.”

“Extremely well equipped to a high standard. We were welcomed with essential groceries, a bottle of wine and a speciality dessert of the region. Patrick was available if we needed him and managed the pool/cover. He was private and discreet. We have stayed in gites many times and this was one of the best with a great pool.”

“A very comfortable and well appointed Gite. Heated pool a bonus once we asked for the temperature to be increased to make swimming more comfortable. Facilities generally were second to none. Would definitely book again if holidaying in the Dordogne.”
