A peaceful retreat in the Laurentians! A log cabin surrounded by nature, with no visible neighbors. Hot tub, fireplace, outdoor fire pit, forest trails, and sledding in the winter. Perfect for families and groups of friends (up to 10 adults)! Great for young children.

Here, no sound of motors on the water. Just the crackling of the fire and the wind in the trees. The municipal beach is a 5-minute drive away, but peace and quiet reign 24/7 at Chalet des épicéas.

Five bedrooms with five queen-size beds, two bathrooms (whirlpool tub, walk-in shower). Bedding, towels, soap, and shampoo provided! Fully equipped kitchen.

DESCRIPTION:

From the large handmade ash wood table perfect for long, leisurely dinners, to a fully equipped chalet and the stunning surrounding forest to explore, at Chalet des épicéas you’ll find a place to unwind, in harmony with nature. This cottage has been carefully furnished with unique secondhand pieces, creating a character you won’t find anywhere else.

The cottage is spacious and spread over three levels. It features 5 private bedrooms with queen-size beds that can comfortably accommodate 10 guests.

Spacious living area on the main floor featuring a large dining table, a comfortable living room with a smart TV, and a fully equipped kitchen (including spices, basic condiments, a Nespresso machine and drip coffee maker, cookware, a hand mixer, and a fondue and raclette set, among other items). Wood-burning stove with firewood provided (limited quantities) and air conditioning. A bathroom with a large whirlpool tub is located on this floor.

Two charming bedrooms upstairs, three bedrooms in the basement. Each bedroom has a queen-size bed, and there are a few extra beds for children, including two playpens. A bathroom with a walk-in shower and washer-dryer is also located in the basement.

The cottage is equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable and worry-free stay. Private entrance with a smart lock. Games, novels, cookbooks, puzzles. For little ones: stair gate, bassinet, high chair, children’s tableware, toys.

Outside, you’ll find a hot tub that seats 6 people—one of our guests’ favorite spots! At the back of the cottage, there’s a BBQ, a dining table, patio furniture for relaxing, and a large lawn. A spacious outdoor area features a fire pit, an outdoor fireplace, and Adirondack chairs to enjoy evenings under the stars.

An incredible outdoor playground to explore, surrounded by the forest. Snowshoe and hiking trails accessible directly from the cottage (a few pairs of snowshoes are provided) and a small sledding hill in winter (the kids’ favorite!)

Ideally located: in a secluded spot surrounded by nature, yet just 10 minutes from Saint-Agathe-des-Monts for your shopping needs (grocery stores, pharmacies, SAQ). In summer, the free municipal beach in Sainte-Lucie-des-Laurentides is just a 5-minute drive away—perfect for swimming!
