Great location and a super host
The host was super helpful the few times we needed her. The apartment's location in the center of the city was great for walking, shopping and dining. And absolutely nothing was amiss or missing in the apartment. Best of all Angela was super helpful and accommodating. Maybe our best VRBO experience ever.

Spring Break in Salem
Stayed in Salem for a week to visit my FIL. Loved the apartment! It’s location is wonderful! I few blocks from a riverfront park, steps away from shops, coffee, drinks, and food, and a free parking garage just through the alley! Angela made checking in super easy would videos of the checkin process too. 10/10 would highly recommend!!

Wonderful in downtown Salem
We loved being right downtown with access to everything we wanted. The apartment was very comfortable and supplied with all we needed (even soy sauce!). Great beds so good sleep. I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful lodging, excellent location
This is our second stay in this clean, spacious apartment. There are a variety of restaurants nearby, and you're about a ten-minute walk to the Willamette campus. Check-in and out are easy and uncomplicated. We were happy to return and will be back again.

Quaint apartment in Central location
We were so close to stop many restaurants and bars so we could just go outside and pick somewhere to eat. We drove about 40 min to Silver Falls park so hikes were accessible by this location too. The apartment was clean and well stocked from headache pills to shampoo and conditioner. We watched Netflix on TV at night to wind down. I would highly recommend this apartment if you're staying in Salem.

Excellent location.
This apartment had all the necessaries and a very equipped kitchen. It was clean, beds were confortables and it was at an excellent location. Restaurants and shopping stores are around it. The host was very responsive and available to answers questions.

Lovely stay in the city
We stayed here while selling at the Salem Art Festival. It was only 1 mile from the show site and the parking garage was a convenient place to park for free. The apartment is super clean and comfortable with everything you need and no extra clutter. We made all our own meals and were so happy we did not have to buy staples like butter, mayo or spices. The place is very well stocked with all cooking supplies. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Fun in Salem
We had a really good time in Salem. The apartment was great! We enjoyed the air conditioning on this 100° weekend. The couch and the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. They even had good quality laundry detergent and a closet with first aid supplies. There are so many shops and restaurants, and a festival was going on at the waterfront which was only a short walk away. The Willamette Valley Vineyards was a 20 minute drive and offered tasty wines and a spectacular view. We will definitely be back!

Great city adventure for a small family
My daughter's and myself really enjoyed our stay here. They supplied everything you can think of and then some. The flat was very, very, clean. I was initially concerned about the neighborhood because there is a lot of transients moving around the area, but we didn't encounter any problems. It's close to a beautiful park with an adorable caurosel as well as cute boutique shops. The restaurants we tried that were close were mid, but find

Very clean, nicely decorated. Loved the coffee maker LOL! Would definitely stay again. (Was confused about how to use the keypad on the street level door until I realised you had to touch the fingerprint reader to make the keypad light up, then it worked fine.)

Fantastic VRBO
Cannot say enough about how wonderful this VRBO was for my wife and I. We stayed three nights, and this wins our "favorite rental ever" award by miles! Location just cannot be beat, and the place had luxury features throughout: top quality toilet paper, all the toiletries you might need, Keurig machine with unlimited coffee and tea, well-appointed kitchen, high-quality iron and ironing board. Parking was convenient at the nearby garage, and occasionally we were able to score a spot on the street. We really loved this place and would not hesitate to rent again. Five Stars. Thank you Angela!

A fabulous place to stay. Spacious, great location, and all that you could want for your stay is supplied. Very safe with two entrances to the apartment. Immediate response with one small light bulb issue. We hope to return.

YET ANOTHER EXCELLENT SALEM STAY
This is the second time staying here, and it won't be the last! I visit family in Salem and this apartment is the perfect place to call home while visiting. It's in a GREAT location, spacious, and most important comfortable and like a home. Angela and her crew keep the property pristine and well stocked. Communication and check-in is easy and seamless. Can't recommend enough!!

Great experience!
This clean, spacious apartment was the perfect home base for our visit to see our Willamette student. Plenty of room for two adults and a teen, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen has all the right tools. The rental and check-in/check-out process were all smooth and easy. The location is central to many great restaurants and easy waking distance to campus. Free parking is nearby or on the street. We will definitely stay here again in future.

Great location in center of everything
Had an excellent experience with the apartment being welcoming, well furnished and containing lots of information about the area. It’s central to all downtown and we were able to walk most places. Communication with owner was fantastic and check in process was easy. Parking on street right outside apartment was limited to three hours however a close public parking structure was within an easy walk.

Wonderful Property, Great Location.
The apartment was clean, the beds were comfortable, lots of extra pillows. This is quite literally in the middle of the city which was awesome, we got in the first day a little later and we were greeted by live local bands preforming in a few different areas definitely an awesome city vibe to come into. Parking was easy to find, the street noise is minimum in the apartment itself especially if you stay in the east bedroom. Lots of notes on how to work things in the apartment and communicating with Angela was easy and she is quick to respond. Definitely a great choice for a Salem vacation!

Location, location, location.
Apartment is in a perfect location to enjoy the heart of our Capital city. Dining and drinks are steps away and the big windows give a great view of downtown. The secure entrance is definitely a plus.

Great Apartment in Downtown Salem
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. The apartment was even nicer than it appeared in the photos. It had plenty of room for the four of us, and was super convenient to all of downtown Salem and walking trails at the local parks. The large windows let a lot of light in the space and we actually saw a hummingbird one morning, feeding on the flowers in the window box (in the middle of January!). The host was responsive and the apartment was very clean. I would definitely stay here again!

Terrific stay in Salem
The apartment is perfect. So clean, so nice, really quite charming. Add to that, all the dining options, shopping options within 3 blocks! And the riverfront park, best in the West?!? Would tip it to 5 stars by any measure. But that transient gal that screamed, sang and cried for an hour outside the window at 5am? Could've done without that. The drug deal going down in front of the door as I was leaving later in the day. "Umm, sorry, could I just squeeze by you dudes real quick?" Every town has its share, I get it. I'd personally rent this place again in a heartbeat. Not their fault at all. But be advised, downtown Salem has some issues...

My fun trip Salem.
The property was in just in the right spot. Was able to walk to any place we wanted. Great places to eat. Convenient for food delivery. We had to stop in the candy store and book bin. It was a wonderful experience.

Angela was an attentive host going as far as supplying toys for my 2 young children. We thoroughly enjoyed our downtown stay. There was so much to see and all within walking distance. I only wish we could have stayed longer. We will hopefully be back in spring/summer. Thank you Angela

Nice weekend in Salem
Really enjoyed saying at this charming little gem. Everything needed to make it feel like home. The only thing that could have been better was the bed. The first night we slept in the bedroom farthest from the street, and this bed was very soft. The next two nights we switched to the other bed: it was much firmer. Overall enjoyed it! Will be coming back!

Nice and clean!
The apartment was very spacious, clean and comfortable. It was very well stocked with EVERYTHING....toilet paper, Kleenex, QTips, shampoo, laundry and cleaning supplies, extra towels, linens, paper towels, kitchen towels....and coffee. Shops and eateries were within walking distance. The only problem was the parking. As someone had mentioned before, you only had 3 hour parking anywhere on the block, yes there was an all day parking garage around the corner but no overnight parking. We had to drive around the area several times before a spot was available. If you don't mind the parking issue, this place is for you.

This apartment was wonderful; clean, spacious, airy, and lots of windows and light. It is in the heart of downtown, very convenient to the capital and Willamette University, and close to the park and river. It has a well-equipped kitchen, washer-dryer, and lovely window boxes. Highly recommended.

Perfect downtown apartment

Apartment was exactly what we needed for our vacation. We used it as a home base for exploring the western part of the state. Nice park along the river for walking, restaurants and shopping near by . Just was't expecting a second floor walk-up.

This property is even better than the listing suggests. Super clean, well-appointed, etc! There are no photos of the second bedroom, which has no windows/natural light- it worked in our favor as it allowed for our kid to sleep very well, but had we wanted adults in both rooms it would have been a bit of a letdown!

If you enjoy the sounds of people enjoying themselves, the breeze brushing against geraniums, the sound of a distant musician playing the trumpet like a master, the scintillating aromas from many eateries within walking distance, then, The Heart of Downtown is for you. This eclectic bit o’ heaven is located in the middle of downtown Salem, and it is wonderful! From the moment you approach the turn of the century entry door, and open it to reveal the second story walk-up, you fall in love. You ascend the stairs, and you feel like you could be in New York, heading home to your apartment. When open the front door, it exceeds the images you remember, as you browsed the booking site. This place is so many things, comfortable, well taken care of, stocked so you truly only need to bring your clothes, it’s hard to describe the attention to detail with mere words. The Management is incredible and so hospitable, you feel like family borrowing their home. I can’t say enough good things, to tell you how I will visit this location time and again. If you are looking for a comfortable place to fall into, after a long day of sightseeing or working, then The Heart of Downtown is the place for you.

Great place to stay for conferences!
I echo all of the other positive reviews about this place. But I would like to add that it's a great place to stay if you're attending a conference at the Salem Convention Center. The walk to and from the convention center is really easy. The place was clean, comfortable and stylish, not to mention well-appointed (seriously well-appointed). I would like to come back some time as a tourist!
