This was the perfect place for what we needed! Our host had communicated to let us know there was an issue with the stove from the guests before us…but that wasn’t a huge deal and I appreciate the notice before we got there. They made sure to let us know if we needed anything from them to reach out. I really liked the open space and it was a nice area. My favorite spot in the house was the little dining area and having the cushioned benches, and also being right on the lake! I will have to book another vacation here when it’s not snowy so we can enjoy that part of this home!

Beautiful stay on the lake

Beautiful little lake house. It was a perfect stay for me and my fiancé. We really enjoyed our time out on the canoe and it was so peaceful throughout our stay. With the neighbors close by it still felt like we had so much privacy. A perfect romantic getaway

Quiet Get Away

Had a fine stay in this quaint lake home! Location was easy to find and get to/from.Winter stay - enjoyable to see folks out on the ice.A lovely spot for a weekend rest. It seems to be primarily a summer home and older, but nothing wrong with that.All published amenities were present!Propane stove for cookingPropane heat for most of the living space, with electric for the bedrooms.

Would stay again

Our stay was great! Appreciated a place for the family to spread out a little more than a hotle room. Perfect for families. Matt was very responsive to some things that came up. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area again!

Sleeps not comfortably

It’s a nice place but the definition of a place to sleep is questionable. There is only one actual bed but 2 bedrooms. If you’re prepared for that, the view is amazing and the place is clean and well kept.No blow dryer though

Great stay

Nice house. Lake very clean and warm. Kayak and paddle boards are in great shape. House is extremely quiet at night.

Cute and quaint.

The property exceeded expectations. There's nothing like opening the front door and looking out the back window at the lake. I wish we could have stayed longer. The first morning I texted the owner and got a response from them within 10-15 minutes. That's great as far as I was concerned. We were very happy with our stay there.

Quaint & Cozy Cottage

My husband and I stayed here during our 1st trip to NH for my son's graduation for SNHU; we were located centrally to everywhere we needed to go; the home was welcoming, cozy and comfortable; we settled in for our week stay quickly; we had everything we needed, except for patio furniture for the sweet deck area; it was due in the week after our stay, but we bought a couple of inexpensive chairs to utilize during our stay; which we left of course for the next guests; we absolutely loved everything about this house and how it sits "ON" the water; the views were breathing taking and quiet; we would absolutely stay again if we make it back to the northeast area; if I had to make a suggestion, it would be to add additional TV in one of the bedrooms, but other than that we had a terrific time.

Nice place

House was nice. It was clean and well located. As it is an older home, it did have some quirks, such as sagging floors in the kitchen but was functional. Price was good. Only issue was that the dock was not installed, so getting the boats in the water was a bit of an issue. We were told that there was a swimming area down the road, but it was locked and the owner was unable to get us the combination. I think these would have been good things to know, but we still had a nice time

Late Fall Stay

We stayed for our daughter's wedding and the location was 10 minutes from the venue. The stay was nice but I didn't realize there was no dishwasher - which meant "KP" duty for us. The '4' rating is because there was no working sink stopper - which meant dishes had to be washed in a big bowl - plus the sink faucet is plumbed backward - making us think there was no hot water!

We enjoyed our stay. Quiet little cabin on a lake. The opposite of fancy but good location and nice view of the water. Convenient access for canoeing and kayaking. The place does not comfortably sleep 6 people as advertised, but we made it work. There's only one actual bed in the entire place. The living room has a pullout sofa, then there's a couch to sleep on in another room and a trundle as well. For a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) everyone had their own space but not everyone got to sleep in a bed.We were happy to be there and it served our needs. No major complaints.

Cute cozy getaway

I did my research and I read up on this place. I took my family to New Hampshire and around Massachusetts for 5 days. We loved this little cozy cute location. It was right on the lake small and cozy for the 4 of us. We enjoyed looking out upon the lake every morning and watching the wildlife. We did exactly as they wanted and for our stay we made it like it was our home. It was a great central location to take a bus to Boston and close to many stores in New Hampshire. It’s a quiet neighborhood. I read about the floors being uneven, but you know in my own home it’s the same way. I’m grateful and pleased with our stay and if you like a small open living space to spend some time relaxing it’s a perfect little place on the water. I would recommend it and I would stay again. Thank you Evolve and homeowner for allowing us to stay in your home. A 🤗😀

Comfortable little house on the lake

Overall, we were happy with our stay. We were there in the winter, so we didn't get to enjoy the lake. The house was great as a launch point between Boston and the mountains.The house is literally on the lake. Water touches the lake side of the house. When we were there, the lake was frozen and beautiful.The house was well stocked and perfectly ready for us. There's plenty of parking. It's an older house, so the ceilings can be low and the floors are sometimes uneven. But the main room is vaulted, spacious and wonderful.Our only complaint is that it's listed as "sleeps 6". We came with 5 and that was a stretch. There's a main bedroom, a smaller secondary bedroom, and a pullout in the main room. If the secondary bedroom had a double bed in it, then "sleeps 6" would be accurate, if tight.

Cute lake house

Largely, it was quite nice. The description inferred that it would have no steps and I thought it would be ADA friendly. While there are no steps, there is NO chair with arms that would allow a person with limited mobility to stand and sit safely. that was disappointing. More disappointing was the phone call to the property manager where I informed him that the toilet seat was loose and sliding sideways and did ask if a chair with arms was available. His answer was that neither could be managed during our stay.

Our stay

The house is very nice however, the floors are a little slanted and uneven. The bathtub has no grip handle and we found it a little uncomfortable getting in and out. The bathmat smelled moldy, luckily we bought our own and did not use theirs.When taking a shower, the bathtub did not drain well it filled up to about 3 inches while taking a shower. One of the chairs in the dining area is wobbly because the screw underneath looks loose, we did not use that chair. I left it in the corner of the dining area. The first window blind behind the club chairs in the living room popped off while I was pulling it down. The air conditioner that is in the little room next to the master bedroom was not connected. The hose was just sitting in there next to it and when I went to connect it, I noticed the filters were filthy so I cleaned them and I left them next to the sink on the counter countertop. Last thing, the blind in the little room by the bedroom doesn’t close. We had a great time and the house is really cute. The view is awesome too. Thank you.
