“This property is on a quiet road. There are neighbors nearby, but you would never know it. We didn't even hear a dog bark. The owners were easy to contact. The breakfast items, cookies and bottle of wine was appreciated. We are senoirs and the owner warned us of the steep grade to the lake. Walking sticks were provided and we didn't have a problem. We caught catfish, crappie and bluegill. Definitely will return. ”

“The children squealed when catching perch from the pond! Our stay was much too short. Everything we needed except a toaster (which was probably there) and a larger skillet. We made do with the electric grill as a do-all! The 3 and 5-year-olds had a blast bombing grandma and grandpa from the loft. A beautiful place. Our oldest granddaughter LOVED the adjustable bed...had her husband hanging on for dear life! Our oldest grandson loved sleeping in the cooler basement. Our daughter and son-in-law...

“Staying at Sweet Gum was an absolute delight and the pics do not do it justice. This property is absolutely First Class in all ways. I was amazed at the extent and quality of the decorating and furnishings including a well-stocked kitchen with bone china! The furniture including the bed was very comfortable. “Fabulous! What a special place! The unit is much larger than it looks from the photos. The host offers upscale finishes and furnishings. It would be easy to stay in this space for an extended time.
