Horrible driveway!

Overall it was a nice house that was clean and had lots of space. I really enjoyed the toiletries that were provided in all of the bathrooms. However, we arrived at the house late and the first night to find the air conditioning off and it was 84 degrees in the house. We spent a miserable first nights it took several hours to cook it down to a comfortable temperature.Finally, the driveway is a very steep downward slope into the garage. Our check in instructions stated that it was sloped and it fit 2 mid sized cars in the garage. What wasn’t said was that due to the steep slope and the height of the garage, our suburban did not fit.

Spacious and clean

Initial impressions were shadowed by not being able to check in until 40 minutes after the check in time. This was annoying especially since we had a long drive that day. The place is very clean. The layout is strange. One of the bedrooms is at the back of the garage literally in the garage. We did not have to use that room so it was not a big deal. The hot tub is not hot it is set at 98 degrees and will not go higher. The jets work great but it feels just warm. You have to go through the downstairs bedroom to get to the jot tub which is weird if someone is staying in there. It is also hard to get in and out of with a plastic stool. There is no yard and the house/town houses are stacked right next to each other. Despite the closeness it was very quiet. The bunk bed in the downstairs bedroom is horribly squeaky and it is okay as far as comfort is concerned. The pillows are like pancakes and not comfortable at all. The king size bed in the main room upstairs is very comfortable. The queen beds were okay but nothing to write home to mom about. There are a total of 30 stairs. So if anyone struggles with stairs this is not good for them. The garage smelled because the trash cans are in there. There were no wash cloths. Overall there was plenty of room and it served the purpose though for the money I have stayed in much better stocked, organized, and convenient VRBO’s.

Great locatio

Great location between Little and big Cottonwood canyons. Lots of room in the condo. We got 42 inches of snow while we were there for three days skiing!

Great location, great stay.

Johnny was a great host, always attentive and quick to respond. Property was great as well, it held our 15 people really well. Be weary of the garage, it has a steep angle to get in, Thules/roof racks will not fit. Luckily there was plenty of extra parking at the end of the neighborhood. 10/10

Great location for skiing but awkward sleep arrangement

Our experienced group of mature (60+) skiers was adequately accomodated, but the use of bunk beds and a separate garage room was a challenge. The house was comfortable overall and close to the Cottonwood Canyon ski resorts. The kitchen was serviceable, but watching television on hard chairs in the kitchen was not comfortable

Great Location for Ski Vacation

The townhouse is located very close to the Cottonwood Canyons. We did not anticipate the traffic getting there in the morning or on the way home. The home was nicely equipped for our stay. The downstairs bedrooms were quite cold, but after a call to the owner/property manager, he provided us with space heaters, which helped quite a bit. Overall very affordable and comfortable.

Great weekend!!

We had a great weekend and loved the condo! It was the perfect gathering place for our family to celebrate our nephew's wedding and also close to the ski resorts. Highly recommend Johnny's place and will be back!!! Thanks!!

Base house for Snowbird Wedding.

Perfect in all ways. Very spacious, but also allows people to gather or have their space. Meticulously maintained. Owner is very accommodating and communicates well with renters. Hot tub was a nice amenity. Driveway and the walk to the parking lot can be a challenge, at times. Well worth checking out this accommodating VRBO.

Mountain Retreat

The property was excellent for our needs. The host was very thoughtful concerning amenities provided. The driveway is very steep, however, the garage is larger than others in the neighborhood. We were able to place 5 cars on the property using the garage and driveway. We enjoyed our visit.

Great stay

The house was perfect for our trip. My husband and I and 4 kids spouses and children stayed for 6 days and it was totally spacious and comfortable. We had a total of 13 people and it never felt crowded. Also it was very convenient to the ski slopes

Great place. Even better location

Highly recommend this space for anyone looking to go skiing or do summer activities in/around the cottonwood canyons. The location is excellent and place is very nice. Everything in the kitchen and around the house was labeled so it was easy to navigate. We had 12 adults working remotely some days and skiing others and it fit us all comfortably. I look forward to coming back to this spot if I make it to SLC next winter.
