The Serene Salt Spring Island Suite is centrally located.
Whether you are relaxing in your private outdoor area or out exploring the neighbourhood, you`ll find Salt Spring is indeed awe-inspiring.
In the very near vicinity are: Baker Forest Trail, Baker Ocean Ridge Trail, and Baker Beach.
Head southeast -- Ganges seaside village (Saturday Market, shops, galleries, food trucks and restaurants) is just a few km away. Head northwest -- Vesuvius Bay (warm swimming beach and awesome sunsets) is also just a few km away. And... head north and St Mary Lake (swimming access) is a few km up the road. Portlock Recreation Park (with Tennis and Pickleball court) and the Salt Spring Golf Club are very nearby.

Heading out on foot ...
The Baker Forest Trail is well-marked and is down the road a short way. Access to Baker Ocean Ridge Trail and stairs to the beach are at the end of quiet Baker Road. It is about a 15 - 20 min walk. (there is a parking lot there, too.)
Next to the main Ganges Road is a path for walking (or biking) that leads north to Portlock Park, Fritz Cinema, Salt Spring Golf Club and leads south to Katatas Winery, Salt Spring Wild Cider House, Country Grocer Marketplace and Ganges seaside village.

We welcome one small to medium dog. Forest trail and dog-friendly beach are nearby. Furry friend is not allowed on furniture/bed, must be crated when you are out. $50 pet fee is applied to booking.

A BC Ferries reservation is always recommended, and virtually impossible to get on a ferry from May-September without a reservation, if coming from Vancouver, even if you are a foot passenger. We cannot issue any refunds if there are any issues with BC Ferries. Please ensure you have purchased appropriate travel insurance, which can be included in your reservation, through Airbnb. Please contact Airbnb directly for questions about what the insurance covers.
At least one member of the group must be at least 25 years old.

Here is a comprehensive guide to our pet-friendly property:

* Side yard is semi-fenced and available for pets.
* House rules:
* pets are not allowed on furniture/beds
* pets must be crated when left alone (maximum a few hours)

* weight restrictions are small-to-medium dogs (typically weigh between 11 kg and 25 kg (24 to 55 pounds).
