En una ubicación apartada hermosa y con vistas al campo, esta cabaña de piedra arenisca separada de Grado II está ubicada en un pequeño pueblo de páramos en el borde del impresionante Parque Nacional North York Moors. Una casa de campo verdaderamente encantadora que ha sido renovada en su totalidad, pero que conserva su encanto y carácter originales con vigas a la vista y la gama original de Yorkshire, se ha complementado con una mezcla de muebles de estilo contemporáneo y de estilo campestre para ofrecer un alojamiento muy confortable.

    Shrubberies Cottage es un lugar encantador donde alojarse para una familia, parejas o amigos que deseen combinar unas vacaciones en la costa y en los páramos. Las caminatas se pueden disfrutar desde el umbral de la puerta o en bicicleta por los numerosos senderos y senderos que pasan cerca del Cleveland Way. Beautiful cottage very warm and cosy.

Beautiful cottage very warm and cosy. Ideal for dogs as situated on a bridle path. Would not recommend for people that like to be in a village with shops etc. All in all a lovely little place. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A beautiful cottage nestled up a quiet lane and surrounded by fields of horses. One bedroom on mezzanine - really pretty but restricted headroom. Lovely kitchen and dining area, and useful utility area for dog. Fantastic large lounge. Downstairs shower a bit underpowered and could do with outside ventilation as it gets very steamy! We visited after lockdown was lifted and it was a bit dusty- just needed a quick flick behind beds etc. All in all a lovely cottage and we would go back. There is no WiFi and phone signal was very limited. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

The cottage was wonderful, everything you need for a lovely peaceful holiday. Met the owner, and he was lovely. We mentioned about making the garden into a more dog friendly area, as it wasn’t closed in, but saying that, it wouldn’t put us off from going again. We had a fantastic week! Really nice cottage in a quiet rural location. Very comfortable and spaceous with everything we needed. ideal for the dogs (2) with nice walks and beaches close to hand. Would not hesitate to visit the same cottage again

Lovely warm cottage, nice quiet location, plenty of walks on the doorstep and only a short drive to the coast. This is the second time we have stopped here and hopefully wont be the last.

Shrubberies Cottage is a lovely place in a great location.

Shrubberies Cottage is a lovely place in a great location. We loved the proximity of the horses in the neighbouring fields and the lane at the side of the property, which was very handy for walking the dogs. We had a good Sunday dinner at the Waterwheel pub, which was within easy walking distance, and an excellent meal at the Jolly Sailor. There was an abundance of crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils in the kitchen, making it easy for us to cook when we didn't eat out. However,we found that we didn't have enough towels for the 6 of us, with only 5 bath towels, and a couple of very thin hand towels in the bathrooms. Towels and bowls were provided for the dogs, which was a nice touch. Also, there was a problem with the boiler, and we had no hot water on two occasions, but I believe a new boiler was fitted on the day we left. All in all, it was a lovely holiday, despite the weather.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Shrubberies Cottage.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Shrubberies Cottage. It was quiet, really comfortable and just what we wanted. I have not marked local amenities because the cottage is in a completely rural setting - wonderful. We were given a good supply of eggs to start us off and very welcome. All cleaning equipment, liquid soaps, washing-up liquid etc., was provided; also towels, bedding and more. There was a selection of games and books. A great deal of information was available on Yorkshire and its many places of interest. Excellent.
