This cabin was as all the reviews described. The cabin was very clean and provided a great amount of space for the family. Downstairs unit was quite unique; it’s like a mini apartment. Quite neighborhood. Great cabin for a stay.

We enjoyed our stay. Neighborhood was quiet. Downtown was quaint and people were friendly. Great communication with the host. We had everything we needed. Supplied coffee, snacks and dog bones which I took home to my dog. Would definitely stay here again.

Blue Berry Hill

Stephanie was a great. She was very responsive to any questions or needs. The owner was close by and even lent us some camp chairs so we could go to Hendersonville for music in the street. Very nice.

Just what we needed and a bit more!

Everything was as expected or even better. This home was conveniently located less than 2 hours from our home in Charlotte, NC. Our 14 year old daughter, whose birthday we were celebrating, especially loved the independence of having her own “apartment” down stairs. The yard was spacious for our big dawgs to roam blueberry hill. The screened in deck up top offered a great vantage point for bird watching. We were very please with the hospitality of the host.

Birthday Getaway

My wife and I met two other couples here for a long weekend birthday celebration. We absolutely loved this property. Stephanie was very accommodating and when we found something was missing from the house, she had someone bring the item to the house for us. We especially loved the amount of games and board games provided. We stayed up support late one night playing Life and really liked that was available for us to use.

Best Vrbo yet!

*the turn for the cabin is on a gravel road next to a church sign, we passed it a couple times so i wanted to let everyone know * Not only was this place absolutely beautiful and clean, but they prepared for us to be there. they had Robes, plenty of towels, almost every TV channel you could possibly get and their backyard was fenced in. The basement bedroom was its own little sweet. They had the coolest bathtub and decorations! Also there were lots of swings and places to sit on both decks. It was better than I expected. Great for dog owners! I brought my two babies to this place and they had a blast. The owner even set us up with a little gift basket with toys and treats! P.S. You might run into the neighborhood dog Paxton but he’s really sweet and shouldn’t come into the yard unless you call him :) had a great stay and you will too!

Beautiful house, property and experience. This owner's attention to detail and interior design is outstanding. Well above and beyond our prior experiences with rental properties. Design touches through out the interior gave this a very welcoming and homey feeling that we all remarked about. Additionally, the kitchen was nicely equipped with cookware, glasses and china, and utensils. Finally, the provision of robes for everyone was a delightful surprise. Beautiful!

Great dog friendly cabin for a friends weekend.

Totally enjoyed our weekend at the cabin with our friends and two dogs. The yard was perfect for our girls and both couples had plenty of space to spread out and have privacy. Easy communication and they provided everything we needed including treats for us and our dogs. Thank you for a relaxing weekend close to breweries and restaurants.

Perfect Getaway!

Stephanie is the best host you could ever imagine! Super quick to answer any questions and provided everything you could possibly think of to enjoy your stay…plus sweet little extras just to add to your experience! The property was super clean and had all the amenities for everyone’s enjoyment. We had so much fun relaxing by the fire pit while our pups enjoyed playing in the spacious yard. Even though most of our stay was rainy, we were able to arrange the cornhole boards to stay dry. Also, plenty of indoor games and puzzles kept us laughing and just enjoying being together as a family! It’s very close to so many quaint mountain towns and outdoor attractions. I would highly recommend staying here, and hope to be back soon!!

Excellent Host & Cabin

Upon arrival until departure Stephanie was a superb host. Not only meeting host expectations the cabin was outstanding from cleanliness to her special complimentary touches. Alexa the chocolate bites on each nightstands, snacks, coffee, and our wonderful Sophie’s treats. I could keep on going and I am sure the next guest will add what I have not mentioned. This is the only cabin we have ever rented that the host (Stephanie) has thought of everything. Home vs rental. This was home for our stay.

Comfortable, peaceful and perfect for our family getaway weekend!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cabin on Blueberry Hill in Saluda, NC. Stephanie was great communicating and answering our questions before and during our stay. The beds were super comfortable, the house was clean and welcoming. There were goodies (snacks) in baskets for us and our fur baby, including dog bowls, which was exactly what we needed sinxe we had forgotten ours at home. It was a delightful surprise! The backyard was ideal for relaxing, enjoying lazy afternoons and playing with our dog Luna, who really enjoyed it the most! The fully fenced yard was a huge bonus! Hammocks, yard games and a firepit enhanced our outdoor fun. In the evenings we enjoyed sitting in the screen porch listening to the bugs and chatting. There were also board games for us to play with! The cabin is just minutes to charming downtown making it easy for us to enjoy all of our meals in town at the different establishments offering great food and service. It was a treat! We hope to be back again next year to another stay at The Cabin on Blueberry Hills.

Mountain Cabin

Cabin on Blueberry Hill was wonderful. Check-in was simply and went smoothly! Location was perfect- right outside of the town of Saluda. House had every amenity we could possibly want and even had treats for us and our dogs! And the yard was great for our dogs - they had so much fun running around. Thank you for a great visit!!

Weekend Getaways don’t get much better!

Last minute one night trip to Saluda, worries about where we’d stay were all forgotten once we found Blueberry Hill. The owner is fantastic, easy to work with and very quick on answering questions. We ate a wonderful dinner at the Purple Onion and relaxed on the porch enjoying the peace and quiet. We will definitely make this property our go-to hideaway on our next trip to Saluda. Great cabin for families with a furry friend!

We fell in love with this cabin after seeing photos of the property online. My teenage daughters said it looked "instagram worthy" when we arrived. I immediately heard comments from them saying things like "I want to live here!" and everyone was excited about having their own room. I was SO HAPPY to find out that the property was fenced as we have 2 big and energetic dogs that need to run around outside a few times a day. A word of caution though, the fence is partially just wire and smaller dogs can just walk right on through it. One of my dogs easily just went between the wires any time her ball would roll away, but thankfully just the sight of the fence and the wires was enough to keep my dogs from going past the boundaries while we were outside with them. We also had no trouble finding space to set up our two large crates to keep the dogs contained during the day while we were out exploring. Side note - Asheville is only about 45 min away and is a very dog-friendly city so you can go a lot of places with your dog anyway. I could go on and on about how thrilled we were with this cabin, but I'll try to just bullet point the rest of this. - The A/C worked great - The kitchen had enough of the "essentials" that we were easily able to just buy some basic meal items and eat in almost every night - The beds, at least the ones in the main area of the cabin were SO COMFORTABLE. The basement one was a bit harder, but by no means uncomfortable. - The robes in the main bedrooms were a nice touch and made the experience feel a bit like a fancy Spa - Appliances were modern and we were glad to be able to do our laundry and not travel home with bags of dirty laundry. - The screened in porch was a super nice place to sit and have morning coffee while asking "Alexa" to play music on the speaker outside. There are ceiling fans on the porch too to keep the air moving on muggier nights. - The yard fills with fireflies at night during the summer which is pretty magical for all ages. - There are lots of games and books around to keep adults and kids entertained for days spent just staying at the cabin. - It IS as good as the pictures look. I'm sure I'm forgetting things but all I can say is it was very apparent that the owner of this cabin is doing their best to make sure that guests have a great stay. If we decide to travel to the area again, I will DEFINITELY be looking to see if this is booked, because we loved it!
