The stay was amazing the touches that the owner put into our stay made it over the moon we felt so welcomed and pampered. The towels were great, the items they had for us were just right. I cannot over emphasize what a great stay this was!

We really enjoyed our stay and the amenities were top-notch. That really makes a difference to us! Also very nice to be able to bring our dog. The setting was like a Nature Preserve, it's not a private property but the household sharing it with us (hosts) were lovely and very respectful of our private space.

If you're looking for a truly remarkable place to stay in the Seattle area, this cottage exceeds all expectations. The attention to detail, comfort, and amenities are simply unparalleled. We initially stayed here as a brief stopover to unwind after a long drive from Virginia, before spending a couple of weeks in the San Juans. The experience was so exceptional that we chose to return before continuing our journey to Idaho and Colorado. The comfort of the beds, in particular, is something we've rarely encountered elsewhere—it genuinely felt like coming home. This home offers a perfect blend of luxury and warmth, making it an ideal retreat for anyone seeking a serene and rejuvenating stay.

The cottage was clean, comfortable, and had many amenities both indoors and outdoors to make a great getaway. There was a barbecue, fire pit, lounge chairs overlooking the lake, kayaks, and standup paddle boards. Right out back is a dedicated biking / walking trail that runs 4 miles in either direction along the lake. With Issiquah a short drive in one direction and Redmond in the other there were plenty of dining out options. The hosts are incredibly responsive and helpful in making your stay great.

We stumbled upon a little piece of paradise! The attention to detail with the extra amenities like throws, toiletries, and snacks adds a touch of luxury to the experience. And cedar-lined closets with robes and slippers? That's the epitome of cozy! It was wonderful to relax and unwind in such a welcoming environment. We were accommodated with both an early check-in and a late check-out! The hosts thought of everything and more. This will be a place we return to! Thank you!!

We stayed almost three weeks at Amy and DK's cottage, and loved every minute of it. The area is absolutely tranquil! A nice stream flows through the property, all the way down the the lake. The sound of running water adds the peaceful ambiance of the cottage. The cottage itself has a well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. We greatly appreciated that its dog friendly. Our party was 2 adults, 2 kids and 2 German Shepherds, we all fit with no worries. The hosts are fantastic people, way more accommodating than most of the other VRBOs where we have stayed. We had a fantastic time and greatly appreciate the hosts!

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The location was picture perfect and Amy and DK did not leave a stone unturned in ensuring that their guests have everything they need for a perfect stay. They were incredibly accommodating and made this one of best experiences ever with Vrbo.

The little cottage is lovely, beautifully appointed and very clean. The welcome gift basket of snacks was so welcome after a long day of travel. The kitchen was well stocked. Lots of doggie amenities as well, including towels to dry off and blankets to cover the furniture. The bedrooms have USB ports and outlets. The beds and linens were high end and very comfortable.The cottage does share a wall with the main house and the pathway to the main house does pass in front of the cottage. However, the owners were so respectful of our privacy and we often drew the blinds down the french doors down so it was not an issue at all. It was wonderfully quiet and peaceful.

The hosts were great, and the house is adorable! We had a very comfortable stay, and due to the wonderful weather, we were able to spend time sitting near the lake with our family and dog. We loved seeing the mergansers and ducks with their babies, eagles flying overhead, and some visits from the adorable dog, Gracie. Thanks for a terrific stay, and I highly recommend.

I needed a place close to my house to stay during our house remodel. I found this place and it was everything I was looking for. Cozy, warm, bright abd clean! I wish I could stay longer! Highly recommended vacation spot.

We use VRBO quite a bit and this property was by far the best one we have stayed in to date! The property is beautiful, clean, well maintained and extremely comfortable. The owners were wonderful and extremely accommodating.

This cottage was better in person. While they have many lovely photos, they do not do this place justice. The cottage was immaculate, extremely thoughtfully furnished (big rocks in the freezer for bourbon), comfortable, and quiet. The hospitality of Amy and DK was outstanding. Even though the cottage is attached to the owners home it felt very private. Gracie, the wonder lab, was a delight and we probably encouraged her to come to us too much. This is an ideal place for two couples or a getaway for 4 friends. The indoor and outdoor spaces were utilized perfectly. We would absolutely return.

First of all, this was our first time visiting the Seattle Area and wanted to be on the lake. As soon as we arrived, I knew we hit the jackpot!!! Every detail, BBQ Grill, Seating Areas, Lake Gear, Kitchen appliances, down to the linens. We even received a welcome basket and homemade ice cream sandwiches from the owners. Did I mention there was a natural creek that fed to the lake. Amy and DK, the owners were super hospitable and without a doubt we will be back.

Amy & DK went above and beyond to make our stay at The Cottage thoroughly enjoyable. They even made sure that we had snacks and breakfast beverages for a restricted diet and toys and treat for our son's dog. Lovely place, peaceful and quiet. Thank you, Amy & DK!

My adult siblings + my pup gathered to surprise my sister for her birthday. The cottage is a beautiful home with comfortable beds and TVs in all the rooms. A special basket and fridge full of eggs, milk, half and half, fruit, granola, snack bars, popcorn etc. really made it so we didn't have to go to the grocery store. The sparkling grape juice was a nice touch to toast my sister. Everything went so smooth. The owners were very responsive. We would love to stay there again. Paisley, my Maltese ,had her own treats too. Super nice place!
