“The villa is wonderful, exactly as listed and the host Michael is a pleasure to deal with. The whole communication process from start to finish with him was so straightforward and he will go out of his way to help you in any way he can. Arriving to a traditional home cooked dish that was actually still warm was a lovely touch and was appreciated by us all. The views from the villa are great, mountains one side and the sea the other. The garden and pool area are lovely to spend lazy days relaxing...

“Yes, host was very accommodating. Met us there and gave us the rundown. I wouldn't change my rating for it but best to know that it is a long drive on winding mountain roads to get there. Once there though the place is quite unique and roomy. Definitely feel you are on a mountainous hillside in Crete - cats, goats donkeys and all! ”

“Fantastic location with sea views to die for, I could happily spend hours just sitting on the balcony watching the ships coming into the harbour. Swimming pool is amazing, and we spent a lot of the holiday lazing around sunbathing and having a cool dip. whether for adults or older children who can swim, the pool is large enough to have a good swim. “We had a fantastic week. If you're after privacy and away from the busy tourist areas, then villa Jokasta will deliver. The villa lived up to to it's description and did not disappoint. A hire/rental car is essential, and the roads to villa are an adventure. But, once at the villa the drive is soon forgotten.A small maintenance issue with 1 of the toilets. But as there are 3 bathrooms in the villa it really wasn't an inconvenience. An email to the owner to report the problem received a reply...
