We stayed for the month of February 2026. The house was clean and the hosts were very responsive whenever we contacted them. Unfortunately, there were several maintenance and safety issues.Upon arrival, the shower rod and curtain were on the floor because the rod was not mounted. The shower handle was also loose, making it difficult to control the water temperature. I had to request a non-slip mat for the tub after slipping on the smooth surface. In the backyard, a large loose tree branch was hanging and could have fallen on someone. The step from the house to the yard was an unstable cinder block that rocked when stepped on. There were also rocks and chunks of concrete in both the front and back yards.The power went out several times due to a breaker repeatedly tripping, which the hosts eventually had replaced. The front porch light was also out.Additional issues included heavily scratched non-stick cookware with coating coming off (we bought our own pans to use), dead batteries in the clocks, no GFCI outlet in the bathroom despite the outlet being above the sink, a very bright security light in the master bedroom that made sleeping difficult, and water erupting from the right sink when the garbage disposal was used on the left sink.Overall, the house was clean and nicely decorated, and the hosts were responsive. However, the property clearly needs a thorough maintenance review, and it may be wise to pause the Vrbo listing until these issues are addressed.
