This house was perfect for us. It’s out-of-the-way but close enough to all the major conveniences. John, the host was great and was quick to respond. The house was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We had limited cell service which was perfect for us, but we were still able to call and text as needed. We loved the house and if we are ever in the area again we will not hesitate to book. 5 stars.

Had a great stay here! House was very clean and a great location near Castroville but has a remote ranch feel. Used this property as a home base while monitoring some work going on at our property located 30 mins away and it served the purpose very well. Be aware there is no WiFi available but going unplugged for a few days is good for people to do anyway! Would definitely stay again.

The air conditioning was set at 79 when it was 97 degrees outside. It took 12 hours to get the air down to a decent level. Overall was good.

Most things were readily available and there is a Superstore nearby for anything you might have forgotten. The setting is a peaceful getaway from city life. It was very nice to get our teenagers away from their WiFi/gaming addiction which actually got them to interact with the family!!

Love the home! So cute and rustic. Host was very nice and responsive. I have 2 boys so they loved that it was secluded and had plenty of room for them to throw a football around. Plenty of parking as well.

The host was excellent with communication. However, for seniors I do not recommend. Having to get in and out of the property was too much, we got caught in a thunderstorm trying to get through the gate. A metal gate and lightning getting soaked was not pleasant.

Great stay! Waking up in the morning and having the cattle there made the experience that much more! At night you can see the stars, hear crickets chirp and see a firefly or two. Great getaway!
