Our stay was extremely disappointing, and unfortunately the way the hosts handled the issues made the experience even worse.Check-in started off poorly because the code provided for the alarm did not work. During the stay, we also had ongoing problems with the air conditioning. A technician was sent, but the home still struggled to maintain the temperature we were trying to keep it at. The AC kept adjusting in its own. We also dealt with ants throughout the property for the duration of the stay. The hosts stated that pest control had been sent, but the ant activity continued afterward and remained an issue through the end of the reservation.Another thing future guests should be aware of is that the property only provides a starter supply of essentials. Once items such as toilet paper, paper towels, or trash bags run out, guests are expected to purchase additional supplies themselves.The biggest disappointment, however, was the customer service. We repeatedly reported concerns and provided documentation, but the responses often felt dismissive and focused more on stating that the issues had been “addressed” than on whether they had actually been resolved. This was one of the worst experiences we have had with both a rental property and its hosts.I would strongly encourage future guests to read the house rules and supply policies carefully and document any issues immediately during their stay.
