We were right in the heart of old San Antonio, so there were lots of places to eat within walking distance, a nice little coffee shop about a block away. The place was decorated beautifully and a pleasure to be in this spot. The host was attentive and easy to work with. As it was downtown, parking was somewhat tricky and a little noisy, but those things were worth it to be right downtown, right near the river walk.

Great place to stay. The place is exactly as it appears in the photos - charming, welcoming and clean. It’s in the perfect downtown location. If you go, make sure and catch the free “San Antonio: The Saga” light installation that is projected onto the facade of San Fernando cathedral right across the street in Main Plaza. Parking in the City Tower garage on N. Flores is a good choice. As of this review, it’s 10 for 24 hours and if you walk diagonally across Main Plaza, it’s a block away. Angela is a wonderful host. All check in/out instructions are clear and easy to follow. We would definitely rent this unit again.

It was very small. Too much furniture for the size . I couldn’t see myself in the bathroom mirror because it was so high. The kitchen was too small to really prepare a meal. The bed was soft and lumpy. The noise at night was terrible. We could lay in bed and smell cigarette smell and marijuana smell and we don’t smoke. There were throw rugs on top of throw rugs. A real tripping hazard. Your car was a couple of blocks away. No grocery store anywhere close.

The apartment was in a perfect area of San Antonio. We could very quickly and easily get to the river walk or find other downtown shops and restaurants. The apartment was so cute and perfect for a quick weekend get a way. We didn’t need much space and chose bot to spend much time indoors. We got out to explore the plaza, downtown, and River Walk. Communication with the owner was great. They gave us all the information needed and suggestions. They were very quick to get back with us when we sent questions.

Beautiful, comfortable, amazing little apartment. Decorated so well, felt bigger than it is. The cathedral on the corner has a nightly light & music show. The riverfront is just across the street, restaurants & shopping all around. Its an older building so the windows don’t block any noise from the street - had to wear noise canceling headphones to sleep - window replacement would help. Even so, I will rent this unit next time I’m in SA.

The location is unbeatable. We stayed for three days without renting a car and didn't Uber once- we walked everywhere. Right on the Riverwalk, across from San Fernando Cathedral, within walking distance of the Alamo and Market Square, plenty of dining options as well. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated, and we really enjoyed the balcony- what a beautiful space to hang out. Previous reviews mentioned it being noisy- there was no more noise than any other downtown area and we both slept well. I have zero complaints and would recommend this place to anyone.

Beautiful, well located apartment. This cozy apartment is beautifully decorated with lush bedding and pillows. The size was perfect for my husband and I. Great location and walking distance to all the great restaurants and shops. San Fernando Cathedral, right across the street! For parking, I recommend using the lot on Flores. Not the one right behind the building as that is more expensive for overnight stays. It’s the lot right after that one about two blocks back from the apartment location. Easy to pay and had no problem with finding space or with theft.

Angela, the fantastic hostess, had done a marvelous job with this apartment. It’s comfy, the location is fantastic, and Angela was responsive with any needs we had. I know it can be a battle updating and renovating a historic building and she has made it very nice. The king size bed is really comfortable. The kitchen space had everything needed. Some things to consider and replies to other reviews: yes there is some street noise. I tried the earplugs the first couple nights but I don’t like sleeping with them. However, the box fan provided really drowned out a lot and provided some nice white noise. And yes, the lobby does smell of marijuana, but the apartment did not at all. This place is great. It’s so close to all of the action in San Antonio.

They had classical music playing when we walked in which was super cool. The space is small but perfect for what we eneded. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds ive slept on in a vbro. Cons: alot of different lights to turn off before bed, lol. The shower doesnt have much water pressure at all. Overall great location to riverwalk and love lock bridge
