Photos are deceptive they don't show that house is at the end of airport runway. Property is very beautiful. Host are very kind and accommodating. Over all we enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous property, Amazing experience
Bill and Tiffany were exceptional hosts! I stayed at their apartment attached to a historic mansion in San Diego, and it was an incredible experience. Tiffany arranged discounted zoo tickets for me, and Bill went the extra mile by spending additional time to ensure the hot tub was sparkling clean. The property itself was amazing, located in a great neighborhood. I enjoyed grilling in the backyard every night. Even though it was just me, they treated me like royalty. I wish I could give them ten out of five stars! If you're visiting San Diego, this is the place to stay!

Charming apartment, great hosts
This apartment is part of the home of Bill and Tiffany. They communicated clearly a few days before arrival of how to enter the apartment. It is decorated just charmingly. It is very clean and well stocked. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Anything we needed, Bill was quick to supply, such as a fan for sleeping (it's what we're used to!), an extra floor heater for an unusually cold rainy day. Tiffany made us a loaf of some kind of pumpkin bread I think it was. It was the best I've ever had!. They gave us some tips of places to visit. The location is very close to downtown and Coronado Island, as well as La Jolla beaches. We cannot say enough good things about Bill and Tiffany.!

Exceptional stay, better than a hotel!
This was truly an exceptional VRBO. The photos don't quite do it justice. The apartment was so charming, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and linens were great quality. There were also robes - I felt like we were staying in a hotel. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay special - Tiffany even took time out of her day to get us a zoo discount. The location was perfect - about a 10-15 min walk to the start of Little Italy and 30 min to downtown. I am already planning a trip back to SD, so I can stay here again.

Fabulous place, great location, awesome hosts!
Despite the weather being uncooperative during our visit, we loved every aspect of this guest apartment on a beautiful street. Location was minutes to the airport, downtown San Diego and local attractions. Our hosts were very responsive to our questions and needs. Can't wait to visit again when the sun is shining so we can enjoy the peaceful yard.

Beautiful San Diego Property
We stayed at this amazing home during Christmas week and it did NOT disappoint! Everything was clean and beautiful. The location is perfect for us since our daughters both live downtown. By the way, the sounds of the airport did not bother us at all. In fact, we loved the view! We would absolutely love to stay there again in the future and highly recommend it for travelers who want a clean, quiet, and comfortable place to stay in San Diego!

Sister get-away
My sister and I were so pleased with the Vrbo. We enjoyed the cozy accommodations. It was just the perfect place to relax and we especially enjoyed how close and accessible to attractions we were. Our host was friendly and helpful. The view is fabulous overlooking the water. When returning to San Diego we most definitely will plan to come back!

If we ever return to San Diego, we will stay here again
This house, wow, such history and very well preserved from inside to outside. Arrival was wonderful, we had a secure parking spot inside a gated fence within steps of the rentals entrance. The outdoor space has too many succulents, plants and flowers to name. We enjoyed the hot tub the evening of our first night, keep in mind to provided 24 hours notice. Yes, you can faintly hear the planes coming and going but they did not bother us. The cold bottled water was welcomed along with the snacks. There are two steps in the bathroom, with the night light, it was a non issue. I compliment the owners with beautiful details throughout the kitchen, bath, living/bedroom. The location was in the middle of everything in San Diego with an easy commute. If you stay here, you will not be disappointed. My best to the owners for keeping this piece of San Diego history available for all to enjoy.

A wonderful stay
Not only was the place we've stayed absolutely stunning, the hosts William and Tiffany are the loveliest people I have ever met. We can only highly recommend this rental. Clean, beautiful, lots of treats, water, coffee, tea, towels and more were available, which we did not expect. When my sister comes back in 2025, odds are we'll book again here. Thank you so very much for making this a memorable vacation.

Its a great location
My 2 sons and I stayed here, it was the perfect location to all the great spots to see! I loved the off street parking. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. I only wish I had known the hot tub was only for 18+ with a 24 hr notice, we did a lot of walking and would have been a great way to end the day. However, We would definitely stay again!! They do a great job!

Urban Oasis
This property is truly an oasis in the city. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The space is beautifully decorated, well appointed, and there are thoughtful touches throughout. The views are unbelievable! We sat on the upper porch watching the planes and lights of the airport and had the most stunning view of the sunset from the jacuzzi. Tiffany and Bill are wonderful hosts! We have already started planning our next visit here!

Wonderful gem near downtown
We had a really awesome stay. The unit was perfect for our family of 3, nice space area for tall fo us. We enjoyed the outdoor area(fire pit/spa) and patio. It’s located at 8 minutes of all downtown popular attraction. Bill and Tiffany were great host and helpful. I recommend it if you need a great place to stay near downtown.

Annual San Diego trip.
This was our first visit to a Vrbo in San Diego. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The amenities were wonderful, and the apartment is quaintly adorned and decorated. All the amenities you could need!! We did utilize the kitchen quite a bit, at least for breakfast. The owners were available via text for any needs or concerns. The facility is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. You can hear the airpot traffic faintly, but it was not an issue at all. At least not for us. Views are spectacular. And the property itself is very accommodating. Lovely outdoor area to walk around in the yard with a fire pit and hot tub. Unfortunately, we ran out of time to utilize the hot tub but it is very nice and welcoming as well as the backyard area and views of downtown San Diego. I would absolutely recommend this Vrbo to anybody who was looking for a nice quiet and spacious place to stay while on vacation in San Diego. The private off street parking and fenced property was a.plus! Bill was very attentive and pleasant. He greeted us and let us know that he was available for any needs or questions via text. The washer and dryer was a plus. I can not recommend this property more highly and we look forward to staying there again. Very relaxing and accomidating property.

Cute and Cozy
The guest apartment was very cute and perfect for my mom and I. The kitchen was well stocked and the snacks were appreciated. The shower had great water pressure. The towels and bed linens were quality as well. The host introduced them self and let us know they were available should we need anything. We didn’t take advantage of the beautiful patio but enjoyed staying there.

Lovely getaway !!
Everything about the stay was perfect !!! The directions led us right to the home, we were greeted with snacks and drinks which were well appreciated after a long flight ! The home is beautifully decorated with wonderful linens. We didn't use the kitchen, but it was well stocked with everything we might have needed. The unit was exceptionally clean and well cared for. Many high end touches. The shower was perfect! The property is delightful, and we enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the planes coming and going. Yes, it was a little loud outside when planes took off, but inside it wasn't that noticeable, and quieted down later at night. We always sleep with a fan, so didn't notice any noise. The hosts were welcoming and very responsive to any questions or requests. They even brought us freshly made pumpkin bread one morning as we were leaving ! The location is convenient to downtown San Diego and the attractions. Parking on site was a great convenience, and we were given a remote to access the gate. We hope to return for a more relaxed stay!! Thanks so much for sharing your home with us !!!

Bucket list trip to San Diego
We were very impressed with the overall condition of the unit and property. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. It was such a blessing to utilize the back patio and porch area to enjoy our morning cup of coffee or watch the sunset. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed the convenience of having our own apartment with plenty of space to roam. Thank you for helping make our dream trip to San Diego a very memorable experience.

Perfect spot to enjoy San Diego
This property is exactly as described. Very clean. Close to the airport, zoo, the midway, old town, restaurants and shopping. We chose to drive everywhere due to it being a hilly area and there is a lot of traffic. Comfortable bed, spacious bedroom. Nicely stocked bath. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware. The hosts provided a few snacks, which was a nice treat. Yes, you will hear the airport noise - consider earplugs for light sleepers. It was not a problem for us. The airport does end flights around 11pm and starts again around 6 am. We had no complaints. Please note there are several steps in the apartment to get into bedroom and bath. We would stay here again.

Exceeded expectations
Excellent stay at an amazing property. This property was very clean and very welcoming. It is much larger than it appears in the photos and is beautifully decorated making you feel at home. They have coffee and some waters to welcome you! The ability to park off the street was a great bonus. The views are amazing and the property was located perfectly for our stay. So many great places to eat locally and the property owners were awesome with recommendations that did not disappoint! Yes there is airport noise but honestly it is very minimal (did not impact our sleep at all) and they have a small fan available that helps. The property owners are extremely responsive and helpful! I look forward to staying here again in the future as we will be visiting San Diego frequently! I highly recommend this property. Thank you William and Tiffany for an amazing stay!

Great Stay - Great Property-Responsive Owner
While technically this is a bottom floor apartment it has the look and feel of a stand alone cottage. First, the property is spotless! Seriously spotless. It is decorated with care and a style that conveys pride of ownership. There was a small bump in the check-in process that was quickly rectified by the owner. The only tiny issue with this very well cared for property was a sticky front door. (most likely caused by the very heavy rain SD has seen this month.). We highly recommend this property and plan on staying there on our next trip.

Inviting, cozy, well appointed
This VRBO is ideal for anyone seeking comfort and quiet with dining and entertainment nearby. Everything we needed… from groceries to the pharmacy to retail shopping to great restaurants to Pechanga arena, plus the airport… was approximately a 10-15 minute drive. A previous reviewer noted noise from the nearby San Diego airport, but it really wasn’t an issue. Worst case, you’d hear what sounded like a rush of wind… not too unlike the calming sound of an ocean tide. Our stay was completely relaxing and pleasant. Access and amenities were ideal. Restaurant recommendations were spot on, too. Our drive to Disneyland was pleasant and quicker than we thought — 90 minutes. Highly recommend this rental! Would love to return.

Charming and homey.
We just spent four lovely days and nights at Bill and Tiffany's beautiful vrbo and I couldn't recommend it more highly. It is well located - close to Little Italy and a short drive to Balboa Park, and not much further to many other popular sites. The unit is comfortable, clean, delightfully furnished and nice to be in, as is the yard. The airport is very close, and we found this to be an entertaining asset, and then super close when it was time to leave San Diego making it a real bonus. I would definitely stay there again and wish I were there now!

Bill & Tiffany were excellent & responsive hosts. There is parking on the street but the area is hilly and crowded so we were most appreciative of being able to park in their driveway. The property is in an older neighborhood but very near Balboa Park’s museums and the restaurants of Hillcrest & Banker’s Hill. The apartment has been updated and we enjoyed our stay. For an excellent experience, it could use some additional updating in heating and appliances, but we considered it a good value.

Please note that the heating and air conditioning unit is brand new, top of the line and was installed only 1 year ago in this apartment. This couple struggled with some of the newer technology in the apartment. They did notify us of an issue with the oven which has since been repaired.

Terrific location with off street parking
We really enjoyed our stay. Bill was easy to communicate with and very responsive to our requests. Property was exactly as advertised and beautifully decorated for Christmas! It was especially nice to be able to park in the driveway as house is on a small street. It is a 5 min drive to our kids in Mission Hills so we will definitely be staying here again!

Beautifully appointed, relaxing stay
The unit was a shown in the photos, with one exception: they have installed a small electric fireplace in the living room area. It warmed the area nicely and added anice atmosphere. We enjoyed the hot tub on 2 evenings, and the fire pit one afternoon/evening. The grounds and the unit are immaculate. The hosts were friendly, not intrusive, and made sure we had what we needed. Coffee, cream, Splenda, some snacks, and a few bottles of water were supplied. There was hand lotion, shampoo, soap, and conditioner supplied by the hosts. All the products were high quality, and the towels were extra soft. They also have some beach items for use, along with beach towels. The bed is comfortable and warm (we stayed in December, so we needed the blankets). In all, it wad a lovely stay, we like to come back the next time we're in San Diego.

Charming retreat
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property is close to the airport and it was easy to get to many of the sights. The hosts are incredibly kind and accomodating. The property is charming and well-appointed. The bedding was super cozy. It has everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this property. Tiffany and Bill were fabulous hosts. Tiffany went out of her way to take us to the Zoo one day which was amazing. Perfect location to get to all the things that san diego offers with just a short drive. The only negative which should be obvious is the plane traffic, but once inside the noise was minimal..The bed was very comfortable and the access to laundry made coming home with clean clothes an added bonus.

Beautiful location and convenient to major tourist attractions
The apartment was a perfect location for everything my wife and I wanted to do for her first trip to San Diego. Tiffany and Bill were responsive and considerate hosts - we appreciated the thoughtful touches in the apartment to make it even more welcoming. The house and its history is really neat, and we enjoyed the scenery of the water, cityscapes and airport from their backyard. Note the airport does get noisy around 6:30 in the morning as these are the first flights out after the curfew ends at 6. Even with the airplane noise, my wife and I slept well in the very comfortable queen bed. When we return to SD, we hope Tiffany and Bill’s place will still be available for rental.
