Family Vacation

House was nice and had a good location. Had a good selection of bath items and a nicely stocked kitchen. Though not happy that original listing stated that there were double beds available and only had twin beds. Also, there was an ant problem in the kitchen. But an overall good experience.

One of best equipped rentals I've ever stayed in

By this point I've probably stayed in more than a hundred different rentals around the world and Katie's place is one of the best equipped homes I've ever stayed in. The kitchen has just about every appliance, sets of dishes, pots and pans, condiments/spices you need. And comes with a large basket of snacks, plenty of coffee, tea, creamers, sugar and more. The bathrooms are stocked with any toiletry item you might need and some you may not know you needed so no need for a last minute dash to Walgreens to get x, y, z, Katie provides it all. The place is immaculate, comfy couches in the living rooms, beds are firm, plenty of space for two families to eat together. The badminton court in the back/sideyard and set of badminton racquets is a huge bonus and very fun! Katie was super accommodating and helpful and responsive. Although the location is on a busy street (address is the side street), there's ample parking and despite being by the train tracks it's very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend!

Amazing property

One of the best places we have ever stayed in via Vrbo. Everything was so well thought-out, well-stocked, and we really appreciated the little touches which were visible everywhere. It was clear that the owner really cared about the place and had a sense of pride in it. The kids really enjoyed playing badminton in the back yard! The location was great too, close to Caltrain which allowed us to travel to SF.

Beautiful and thoughtfully stocked rental

We stayed at this property for four nights over a spring break trip to the Bay Area. The home worked so well for our family. We were super impressed by the how thoughtfully stocked the home was with snacks, hygiene supplies and much more. The garden space is charming and well cared for. We were thrilled that we were able to extend our stay by a night when one of our kids wasn’t feeling well. Our only disappointment was that we didn’t have time to enjoy the outdoor entertainment area.

This is the 4th Vrbo place we’ve stayed in Redwood City while visiting family, and by far the best. We loved: -lots of parking space in broad driveway, 3 cars at least -lots of natural daylight -well insulated from street sounds and trains. -Playing the piano! -yard, with an awning to protect from rain, and Astro turf badminton court. - Above all mgr Katie who was unfailingly prompt, and cordial

Great Home in an Advantageous Location

I highly recommend staying at this rental in Redwood City. First, Katie is a phenomenal host and is focused on ensuring your stay meets you expectations. She is extremely communicative and compassionate. The home is a wonderful layout with ample space inside for a family and space outside for activities. I have stayed in many VRBOs and traveled through much of my career. I have never stayed at a home, rental, residence, or hotel that was more equipped than this home. Katie has ensured all that you will need is in a drawer, cupboard, or closet. This made our stay easy. The location was great for us. We needed space for our family as we were moving our son to USF. It was centrally located to all we planned to visit; San Francisco, Half Moon Bay, San Jose, and Santa Cruz. I struggle to find anything negative about this home. The only item I would note is that it is near the train tracks. However, I can confirm that the periodic CalTrains that travel by seem nearly non-existent. The home is well insulated and the trains are quiet. Again, I highly recommend this owner and home for your visit to the Bay Area.

A week at Stafford House

We chose this property because of its close proximity to Stanford Hospital, and I'm so glad we did. It was truly a home away from home for us, not just a place for us to sleep while out of town. The attention to detail in terms of comfort, amenities and cleanliness were amazing! A full kitchen, cozy bedrooms and living room, a laundry room, and clean bathrooms (she even included extra toiletries in case you forgot anything!). All wrapped into a nice house with a BEAUTIFUL yard in a safe neighborhood. She was also quickly responsive to any questions we had during our stay. We really appreciated Katie's hard work in making this a nice place to stay, and we will definitely be coming back here.

The Stafford house is great!!

My husband had surgery at Sequioa Hospital, the Stafford house is only 1.5 miles from the hospital....which was great!! The house is amazing and so is the host!! The house was clean, well stocked and very comfortable!! Thanks again...Jo Ann

Good access to Stanford Sports Medicine

10-15 minutes to Surgical Center in RW City. Clean, convenient and secure. Trains and traffic run during commute hours but abate at night. Would stay there again. Thanks, Katie.

Will Definitely Be Back!

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights with our two adult children. We have family that live approx 15 minutes away. The house, and the property, are 100% as beautiful as depicted in the VRBO photos. The unit has everything you need, and is spotless! The host lives minutes away, and is extremely fast to respond to any questions. She was very accommodating when we asked if we could host a small family gathering in the yard for Mother’s Day. There is a large supermarket 5 minutes away, which was extremely convenient. We totally enjoyed our stay, and won’t hesitate to stay here again!

Just what we were looking for

We needed a home for several weeks during renovations. The house was comfortable, Katie was extremely responsive and we barely noticed the train even though it is right across the street. The backyard is an added bonus with lots of room to sit and relax

Very Pleasant house and yard

We stayed in this house for 3+wks. The owner was very responsive to any problems that arose. She had a well outfitted kitchen with obvious consideration given to her guests. We would definitely consider staying there again if we were in the area.

Outstanding Property & Host!

This property offered everything we could have asked for, and more! The photos of the property are completely accurate. The bathrooms and kitchen were stocked with high-end amenities and lots of thoughtful extras. The house was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The backyard was well-maintained and perfect for a small gathering with family members that live locally. Most importantly, the Host was quick to respond and extremely accommodating. We had an overall phenomenal experience and are already in the process of re-booking this property for our next visit to the area!

Excellent Stay

Great visit! We stayed here during a home renovation an the location was ideal as it is very easy and convenient to get to local downtown areas of San Carlos and Redwood City. Katie was the perfect host and checked in with us about needs during stay. Having well stocked kitchen, washer and dryer was a plus for us. Wi-fi connection worked well for remote office work. If you are visiting friends, family or in the the Bay Area for work or vacation, we’d highly recommend the accommodations. We were very pleased all around for all the extras!!! Thank you.
