Hermosa Westlake Palisades Home

Bonita y acogedora casa neighborhood Barrio limpio y tranquilo, y a cinco minutos a pie del parque Palisades. A solo 1 cuadra del Skyline Plaza, donde hay muchos restaurantes y tiendas. Está muy cerca de Westlake, Serramonte y Stonestown Mall. Una estación de autobuses justo en frente de la casa te lleva directamente a la estación de Daly City Bart. Overall, the room served it's purpose. The bed was clean but the floor felt like it had not been swept.The bathroom toilet was also dirty. The bath towels were old and had a musty smell. The shower is also really small, but that seems to be the norm with rentals that are basically just a room. The location was good and if it weren't for the lack of cleanliness and the smelly towels, I would rate higher.

Pros: It was tiny and quaint, nice location. Cons: mildew scent in restroom was bad. Last night there was woken up in the middle of night with a truck that parked right outside the window, moving equipment which was extremely loud and inconsiderate and kept me up. Would not stay here again.

Great location close to Fort Funston

Had a wonderful stay here with our two kittens. Beautiful clean unit, very close to convenience stores, beaches and SF Zoo. James is very responsive, answered all our queries super quick! Perfect for weekend getaway :)

Above and beyond

Our stay in the studio was great. James went above and beyond to accommodate for us. We were able to check in early and when any issues did arise, James answered right away.

Location was great and the communication with our host was great. There is a washer and dryer next to the unit, but no detergent, we had to go out of our way to purchase it. Space was well kept, lovely and cozy. Parking is limited, we have a small Hyundai Sonata and had to go over the curb to park on the far right of the property. Which is a bit of an inconvenience, considering our small car and neighbors’ large Suburban. Other than that, checking in and out went by smoothly; the only downside is the parking situation, but not big of an issue. We will definitely recommend this space to others!

Clean, nice and easy access

Enjoyed our brief stay. The proximity to SFSU was perfect since we had to pick up my daughter from school. Everything as pictured, easy enough to park. Dog park down the street made it perfect for our pup. Especially appreciated the extra touches; welcome note, variety of treats in the refrigerator as well. Will definitely book again.

3-day booking

We booked the room based on the high reviews. We have stayed at 10’s, and this is not one. It could be fine if you just need a convenient place to sleep. The bed was fairly comfortable, but the room is tight and the shower is so small. We only stayed 2 of the 3 nights because we could hear walking/talking above us, and the old refrigerator ran all night.

Nice place in a quiet area.

It was great staying here! The studio itself was super clean and nice, both the only downside was that the shower is quite small. As a small 5’3 female, I was still bumping into the wall trying to wash my hair. But it was still worth it and the price is great!

Will stay again for sure!

This was a great little place to stay. Had everything we needed and clean. Enjoyed this location as it was away from the hustle bustle of the city and near some of our favorite, local spots to eat. Communication with the property owner was great, got our check-in information a few days before our stay with very clear instructions (was a bit confused looking at it ahead of time but made perfect since once we arrived). We ended up not bringing our pup with us and they were very understanding and even refunded our pet fee. We'll definitely stay again next time we're up for a visit.

A good value, and location was fairly close to SF.

Overall this was a satisfactory stay, very kind of the host to place snacks in the fridge. The only short comings, the entrance is through the garage, that had smelly garbage cans, the apartment floors are ice cold this time of year, and the shower, although very clean, was as small as a phone booth. All in all, it was as listed, small but clean.

Daly City Stay

James was absolutely amazing as a host. I would stay here again if I could. We stayed for 13 days and people were in and out. So, his place is popular. But I can see why. He did everything possible to make it perfect. He even got us cookies and fruit and wrote us a lovely message to welcome us. Highly recommend James and his Daly City home. Even our dog, Mavis loved it…
