The unit itself was cute and conveniently located. It could have been such a great stay, but….Upon checking in we were given a code for the door to our unit. Our unit had no keypad for a code, just a key entry and a lock box on the wall. We were not given a code for this and when I asked for one I was told that I had been sent instructions for check in and all I needed was the code for the door itself, over and over. My teenage son finally got into the lock box by guessing codes until he managed to guess correctly. Once we got inside we discovered that we were only given two bath towels, two beach towels and one washcloth, for three people. When I requested more, it took two days for them to arrive. We also noticed mold on the walls and ceiling of the bathroom and immediately mentioned it to the host. Again it took two and a half days for the issue to be addressed. For the first two and a half days of our stay we had no running water and we could not get anyone to come and look at the issue or to tell us what was going on. Turned out to be an ongoing issue in the area which they had no control over. I can understand that it was out of their hands but the lack of communication or any offers to try and help us in that situation were very frustrating. Whoever manages this rental is clearly not on site or even close by. Unless they find a more professional management company for this rental, I would not recommend that you book with optimum, ever!
