We stayed at the condo for 3 nights in late March-early April before heading to the west. Great communication with Frances, the host! It’s a gated community of two high rises, and we had a fob key to be able to go through several doors to the pool area and the beach, which is right outside the property. The studio is on the 16th floor and has an ocean view from the balcony. There's a fridge, stove and all kinds of utensils in the kitchen. Plenty of bath towels, shampoo and conditioner. The beach chairs and towels were very handy. We didn’t use the beach umbrella which was also provided - there was plenty of shade from palm trees. But the ocean was on the rough side with big waves, so we could just jump over them, no swimming. There's a number of restaurants within a walking distance. We liked a whole fried snapper at Lifeguards of the Reef. We didn't have a car the first two days, so we took the T5 bus to visit a castle in old San Juan. The bus stop is on the right just outside the gate of condo complex and, surprisingly, public transportation is free. Some minor things that didn't affect our stay - there was no hot water in the bathroom sink but the shower and kitchen sink had it. Also a suggestion for the host: two little and one medium Teflon frying pans are quite outdated. We cooked eggs only once, so we got by. For longer stay guests, I'd provide one but a better frying pan. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!
