This property was definitely a mixed bag.
The check-in process was quick and easy. Upon entering the property, first impression is wonderful. The unit was very clean, and view is impressive.
Positives - A/C worked well, as did the refrigerator and coffee maker. The entire unit was clean. Shower worked well, quality towels and washcloths provided. High top table/chairs in the living room provided a good spot for eating and looking at the view.
Entry into the facility through the gate/into the building was seamless, use a fob on the keyring. Provided keycard does not work. Location was great, convenient for access to many Fajardo activities, restaurants and shops (with a car). Only 30 minutes El Yunque Visitor Center.
Negatives - Disappointing that many items noted by previous reviews had not fixed. There is only one light fixture, in the entryway, that works. The light/ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom, and light in kitchen do not work. Unit is very dark in evening/morning. Mattress is not supportive, bed frame is light weight - two people will end up in the middle of the bed. Bedframe creaks at every movement. Paint is peeling many areas. Balcony is inviting, except A/C units exhaust there so temp is way to hot to sit out and enjoy. Small shelf in bathroom is non-usable, it would take 2 screws installed to fix. Door handle on one slider is broken/hanging loose - nonfunctional. An issue arose needing assistance, host took six hours to respond.
