We only stayed here 8 hours and moved to another property. This one was not well kept and was on the 3 rd floor and had no elevator. My husband had knee replacement and could not go up or down steps. The ceiling is falling in one bedroom, the oven is disgusting. Most of all the lock on the balcony is broken and cannot lock. The host called me 3 times during the 10 days we were in Puerto Rico and was harassing. Shower VRBO was exceptionally deal with and supported us as they should have. Thank you VRBO

Accommodations were nice and it was a peaceful stay away from a busy area. The hosts were always available if we needed anything or had any issues, which we appreciated. All issues were addressed in a timely manner. Nice place!

We had an absolutely incredible time at the crab shack. The apartment was stocked with all essentials, my kids had so much fun at the pool and beach. Incredible views going and coming to location. So many food options in the area , the host was super attentive and responsive throughout our stay. 100/10 we would stay here again.

This is definitely a home away from home.The property is so well kept, we loved spending time at the pool and watching the crabs admit the beach.Being able to see the beach and El Yunque from the balcony every morning really set the tone.We will stay again.

Wonderful time!

No complaints.. my family of 6 had a wonderful time. Management was extremely responsive to all questions and even gave us some great recommendations. The room was even accomodated with a beach cart that had everything we needed to enjoy the beach with the kids.

Family Time!

Overall a 10 stay in a beautiful setting. The Crab Shack in Rio Grande did not disappoint and is a terrific value with an ocean view for anyone wanting to enjoy the El Yunque Rainforest, Old San Juan, Relax at the beach or see the surrounding area that's full of shops and restaurants. The pool is also worth mentioning as it is clean & well kept. There are multiple choices in dinning right near the complex and Richies is a must (THE VIEW IS INCREDIBLE! See last photo).

My family of 5 had a wonderful stay at the Crab Shack. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed.The grounds are very well maintained and the access to the beach/pool and rainforest close by were amazing. The beach is quiet and very calm and safe for young children.We would definitely visit this complex again.

Great place, great host

The condo is as pictured, it was very clean and had everything needed for the beach, chairs, umbrella, coolers, toys, even a beach cart and beach towels. The pool was big and the complex was not crowded which is one reason we did not stay in San Juan, to avoid crowds. It was quiet, well kept and we felt safe. We saw security often. The host was extremely responsive and helpful and gave wonderful advice/tips. I advise you reread all the information from the host a couple times once you arrive then it will all make more sense. There were 7 of us and we had enough space. However there is no store or restaurant within walking distance, you will need a car to stay here. Most of the activities/excursions we did we had to drive the 40 minutes back to San Juan, which really wasn’t bad and didn’t feel that long. It was worth it to have the peace and quiet. Very much recommend!

Awesome vacation!

The Crab Shack is the place to stay! You don't have to bring anything. This place is stocked to the max!! Everything you need for the beach, and I mean everything! And if you want to cook, don't worry, everything you need for that is there a well. It's in a safe quiet neighborhood, with access to the beach and a great pool, that's open till 11pm. The beds are very comfy, and the AC worked great as well. I can't say enough good about this place! We will be back! Thank you!l

We had a wonderful time staying here! Pool was refreshing, so close to the beach, comfy condo, close to el yunque, Fajardo, and other places! It was clean and stocked with chairs for the beach, volleyball, and had a cute balcony to relax on. 10/10. Would totally stay again.

Great stay and beautiful property

We had a great stay at the Crab Shack. There were 3 of us including a teenager. The condo was well appointed and very clean. Lots of extra sheets and towels as needed. Also, the beach equipment was much appreciated. Highly recommend for a local feel to staying in PR.

Perfect vacation spot!

We absolutely loved our time at the Crab Shack! The condo was exactly as listed and was perfect for my husband and I along with our 2 sons (ages 16 and 20). The place was clean, organized, had plenty of kitchen supplies, great towels, comfortable beds, and the hosts communication was immediate - always responded within minutes! We loved the beach accessories which we used often since the beach is less than a 2 minute walk from the front door. The beach was quiet and the pool a perfect temp. The condo is conveniently located for day trips to the rainforest, Luquillo kiosks, and many beaches. This is a perfect spot for a relaxing vacation, highly recommend! We will be back

Family vacation

This property was clean and welcoming with nice updates. They had plenty of towels for bathing and the pool/beach. It was convenient having a washer/dryer in the unit. Enrique was quick and responsive with all our questions.Our young kids appreciated the large shallow pool and kiddie pool. We chose this property because we wanted a pool on sight and a beach. We had nice family walks along the beach. Our kids also enjoyed playing basketball with the ball they had in the condo. This location was convenient to restaurants, groceries, and wonderful Luquillo Beach. Luquillo beach was the perfect family beach with shallow, peaceful water. They had chairs and umbrellas to rent and different people selling drinks and food which made it possible to relax there the whole day.
