A Wonderful Place to Stay In Avila Beach

We absolutely loved this place, located right off the main street of Avila Beach. So close to everything, yet tucked away and quiet. We'll be staying there again soon !

Clean, cozy, and can’t beat the location! It was such a beautiful spot nestled in downtown. We felt so fortunate to go to the beach and back home for anything we needed. We loved it!

Loved being so close to the beach! We walked to get coffee every morning and then enjoyed it on the balcony. 10/10 will stay here again!

Great place and location.

We love Avila Beach. This is a great place. Loved it! Steps to the beach. We cooked breakfast only because there’s so many other places to eat. The kitchen has everything we needed.

Lovely stay

Loved this location in Avila Beach. Beach view from balcony is nice and just enough off of Front Street to avoid some of the noise on the weekends. Private parking was wonderful. Farmers market and band on Friday night were a definite bonus. Close to SLO and Santa Maria but without the hustle and bustle of Pismo Beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Happy Grateful

Wonderful location to spend an intimate long weekend. Wonderfully taken care of through entire process from registration through checkout. Beautiful unit. Great to cook and eat in or walk to a restaurant. Beautiful location in Avila just across from the beach.. Will return the next time we are in the area. LOVE this place!

We've been coming to the area for years but this was the first time staying in Avila rather than in SLO. Oh man, what a difference! Being able to walk to restaurants, Reimer's, the beach and the park was so convenient. Waiting for our table at the Custom House from our patio was awesome! Speaking of the patio -- morning coffee and evening wine with that view was spectacular. We loved the open concept and upscale finishes (beach chic). The place was very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. We can't wait to return to this great beach house!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been visiting 28 San Miguel for many years, and it has always checked all the boxes. It's one of the best locations in Avila. That said, it's time for a facelift. The furniture is the same as it was when we first rented many years ago, and showing its wear. Also, there is a horrible smell coming from the shower drain and under the kitchen sink that is getting worse each year. The ant problem is also an issue and the maintenance team spraying ant spray in the dresser drawers results in your clothes smelling like ant spray. Past that, we enjoyed our stay..

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: pretty good, many lights were out and I reported this to Coastal Management, however, probably because of the Holiday, no one came to put new lights in while we were there. This is a nice location, there are some stairs to climb, and there is a dumb waiter to help with some of the luggage. We like the one separate bedroom leaving a nice other room and open kitchen. We would visit again.

It is well maintained, comfortable, spacious and steps from the sand, shops and restaurants. A great location close to everything. It comes with a private place to park and a dumb waiter to help you get your things up and down with ease. The management company was easy to work with. We enjoyed golfing and riding our bikes on the Bob Jones Trail. We had great meals at Merseas on the last pier, Custom House and ice cream at Reimers. Looking forward to returning next year.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a request to the owner. We are readers, not TV watchers, and every year we have to bring a reading lamp for the living room. We work and read at the table and the lighting is especially bad there - more mood lighting. CVR replaced the lights over the table while we were there but it still didn't help. I wish the light was on a timer so that it could be made brighter for those of us that need it for work and reading. My only complaint.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything about this condo is wonderful. The location is perfect, the view sublime, and the building is really well-maintained. I had stayed here 2 years earlier and figured kitchen supplies would look older, but this management company replaces stuff when it starts looking old. There was an All-Clad pan that looked new, as I could not find even one scratch. The knives are great, though I couldn’t find the sharpener. The kitchen overall is well-stocked, which we appreciated as we cooked every day. The whole condo is well-appointed and tastefully decorated. I especially love the beautiful yellow bathroom. I even loved the ceramic soap holders by both sinks. The bed is very comfortable and we slept great every night. Thank you Coastal Vacation Rentals!
