“We stayed for a couple of nights at Paradores. The place is well maintained considering its age. Some parts of the house are over a hundred years old. Woodworking professionals will appreciate the hardwood floors held together not by nails but of wood pegs. They are uneven at certain parts of the Spanish era home. But that is part of the charm. “I took my 89 year old Mom who's in a wheelchair along with her two caregivers. They stayed in room 6 and I stayed in room 5. The staff was super helpful in lifting her in her wheelchair so she was able to enter and leave the dining room as there were stairs. The rooms were very clean and the beds incredibly comfortable. It was nice that our rate included breakfast. All in all, an excellent stay!”
