Mariah was one of the best VRBO hosts we have had and the property was fantastic. Everything was as described or better! Clean, extremely well equipped and comfortable. She was wonderful to work with, prompt with responses, friendly and helpful. Its a beautiful unit, pool is modern, clean and fun. Front desk was so friendly and helpful as well. We love staying in this area when we visit the island due to its proximity to our favorite spots like Truck Stop, Secret Beach, Rum Dog. It's also close enough to town and stores for quick trips in to eat or explore.

Relaxing Getaway

Sunset Caribe was fantastic! We had a wonderful stay at Mariah’s place. The resort and the condo were both beautiful. It was also spotless, and incredibly comfortable. This place had all the comforts of home and we enjoyed every moment we were there! The condo was located close to the city and just a short ride ride from secret beach. Mariah provided excellent tips on local eateries, things to do, and island essentials. She made sure our stay was pleasurable from start to finish. This was the perfect getaway for a group of friends that desperately needed some R&R! And I must say that couch has magical powers, every time we sat on it we fell asleep! LOL

We loved our time here. The property was beautiful, clean, & the staff was wonderful. They had everything we could ask for. Daily room service, they even do your laundry. The picture does this property no justice!!! It was lovely and beautiful and just far away from the noisy city to be able to relax after a long day. Our stay was top tier all the way around. Wonderful Get-a-way

My husband and I spent 5 days at the Sunset Caribe Condo Resort - 5th floor. The unit was beautiful and the views from each room were as described, with wonderful ocean views from the Living space, and each Bedroom. Unit was clean and the kitchen was fully functional with all major cooking utensils and with plenty of COFEE selections :-) and Cloffee making options!! The pool area was always kept clean and had plenty of lounge chairs and tables available. We also enjoyed the Hot Tub. Although Golf Cart rentals are offered by the Resort via the Concierge we googled other Golf Cart companies and found one at a cheaper rate, and they offered drop-off and pick-up, which was very convenient. Having Security on property was a definite plus, and all Golf-Carts get registered with the security team at gate to ensure it is you leaving and returning back to the resort. The Condo/Resort location was great, as you're just a short golf-cart ride away from downtown for bars, food and shopping. Mariah was an awesome host and I would definitely stay again!!

FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE- could not have been better!!!!!

We had an amazing stay at a 2-bedroom penthouse in Sunset Caribe, just north of San Pedro, Belize. The location was perfect—peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to town for restaurants, shops, and excursions. The condo was very clean, well-furnished, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.What really made the experience stand out was the service. Mariah was outstanding—friendly, responsive, and full of helpful local tips. The resort staff were also incredibly attentive and made us feel right at home from day one. Whether it was arranging transport or offering fresh towels, they were always available with a smile. We would also highly recommend using their concierge services for municipal flights, transfers and golf cart rental. Overall, this was the perfect mix of relaxation and convenience. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a stress-free getaway in Belize.

Beautiful stay!

Beautiful condo with fantastic views of the sunset. Mariah was a wonderful host and was always very quick to respond.The location was perfect being just outside of town but close enough that wasn’t an in convenience to get to when we wanted. The unit was clean and well stocked with most everything we needed. We really enjoyed that we had access to grand caribe across the street as well. Many extra surprises as the float toys for the pool as well as the pump to inflate, many games and pool bags to use as well.We truly enjoyed our stay!

Amazing!

We had a such a great vacation! My husband and I stayed for a week in the condo with another couple, it was perfect as we each had our own bedroom and bathroom with a shared living space. It would also be great for a family of 4 (or 5 if small kids). It came with so many extras, like floaties for the pool, luggage scale & binoculars were a few of the things we found useful but there were so many more. The location was perfect. It was very close to several restaurants and stores. We weren't thrilled about being on the lagoon side, but we had some great sunsets. We also saw some crocodiles and a sting ray from our balcony which was pretty cool. Check in was easy, the concierge was extremely helpful before we arrived with helping us rent a golf cart and answering my questions. They were also great with helping us book airport/ferry shuttles and excursions while we were there. Condo was clean and well cared for, it was an added bonus that we had daily cleaning if we wanted. Mariah went above and beyond as a hostess with all of the extras in the condo. She was also very helpful in providing a suggested packing list and information letter. Both were extremely helpful especially since it was our first time visiting Belize. It would have been handy to have a couple of kitchen towels and dish rag to wipe up counters and dry dishes. Also, it listed there was a washer/dryer in the description, I'm not sure if they were available somewhere (I didn't inquire). But these were minor.

If I say it's bad it will always be available for me!!

I don't really want to write this review because I want this property to always be available for me! Seriously though, the place is fantastic! It is EXACTLY as described but better. PROS: Mariah is the best rental host I have ever encountered. the place is stocked with everything you need and I mean EVERYTHING. Spices, tupperware, kitchen gadgets, even Keurig pods! Well decorated, great view, easy access, gated property with 24/7 security. The beds are memory foam and very comfortable. Bathrooms are huge and showers are glorious. The pool is ridiculous - its basically a perfect pool, then a mirror image second pool right next to it! Infinity hot tub is super hot , feels great to go back and forth from the pool (not heated btw in case you like that). You get to use the beach at the sister property across the street, but honestly I liked it better at Sunset Caribe. We rented a golf cart from the property and it was new, clean and well maintained. Location is GOLD, close to everything yet far enough away to avoid the crowded downtown area. Theres a resort across the street called cast aways and it is the best place to sit on the beach and they have great cocktails! Food truck park nearby with live music daily is also just down the road. CONS: Really nothing, but if I HAD to list something, I would say that the living room furniture is getting a bit tired and the patio furniture is not very comfortable. But still wayyy better than most rentals! Thanks Mariah!

Perfect Stay on Ambergris Caye

This was our 4th stay on Ambergris Caye, Belize. Each time we stayed at a different location north of the bridge. This spot may be our favorite. This condo was perfeclty appointed and Mariah thought of every detail. We loved the view from the balcony. Sunset Caribe was quiet and peaceful regardless of the time of day. The employees were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful condo ! Super host!

Perfect for 2 couples! We are a few meals at the super equiped apartment. Very nice decoration. We rented a cart to go « downtown » but were happy to stay in a quieter area. Staff very helpful and nice. I recommend to book activities in advance, as last minute booking is more complicated. Thé scuba diving organized by the resort is done by Ambergris Divers, highly recommended.

Mariah’s condo is clean, bright, and inviting. We really enjoyed our stay. She covers every detail even down to providing beach bags, which I was sooo happy to find because I forgot mine at home🙏. The property itself is wonderful, everyone was so kind and attentive. I certainly recommend staying at this location.

Best of Belize

Our stay on Belize was absolutely amazing! So much so we extended our vacation and we don't have any regrets about it. The condo was beautiful, the view from the condo were breath taking and the location gave us access to so many things. It was a stress free vacation because the front desk team and Mariah were so helpful and were only one e-mail or phone call away. Highly recommended! When my family and I visit Belize we will stay at Sunset Caribe again.

Beautiful ocean view property

Overall the penthouse was amazing! The pictures online does a disservice to overall experience of staying there. From the moment we arrived the resort staff knew who we were and displayed excellent customer service throughout the duration of our stay. The penthouse itself was very clean when we inspected the rooms. My personal favorite was the balcony! It was so calm and peaceful sitting out there with a great view on the resort pools and ocean view. I would recommend this property to anybody who visits San Perdo. Mariah the property owner was a great host as well. She gave recommendations in a very detailed email on transportation from the airport to the resort, restaurants and stores. She even provided free waters when you first arrive, which is needed. 10/10

Awesome Stay

We really enjoyed our stay. We have spent many nights on the island and have stayed north, south, condos and hotels. This is one of my favorite places to stay. The unit was new, clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed to cook meals and enjoy our trip. The location is great for those that want to be out of the daily bustle but close enough to enjoy it when you want. The staff was very attentive and responsive. They took care of everything we needed. We will definitely timely be staying here again.

11/10 highly recommend

You cannot find a better place to stay in Belize. If it’s your first trip, I highly recommend mariah’slistings because she will ensure you have everything you need for a great trip and you will be staying in luxury. She educated us on everything San Pedro and gave incredible insight for our trip. This alone was worth it but OMG, the place is great too. Everything is as pictured and cleaner than you can believe. And the staff is exceptional. I truly believe this is the best place to stay in the island. 10/10 for Sunset Caribe 11/10 for staff 11/10 for host
