Ummm Secret Beach. I really had to sleep on this one as far as how to review my stay at the Cabanas. So, 3 stars out of 5, above average. It certainly is a solar powered, remote, and quiet place to stay. It's not technically on the beach front but is a 15 second walk to the beach front / bars. Location: There really are a ton of mosquitoes which start coming out at dusk. And plan for a bumpy hour long golf cart ride from San Pedro which I found to be really cumbersome when going on reef related excursions. Meanwhile, all the beach bars close at sun down. (Being so remote, the drinks and food are generally really expensive at all the bars). Anyway, it is then super quiet from dusk til dawn. The prop managers are super cool and cook up a great breakfast. The cabana I stayed in was cute, entirely in working order, and had comfy bedding. I want to rate my stay higher but the destination itself was more like a 2 or 3 day place rather than a week long stay kind of place.
