“The place took me back to younger years as a teenager, when my parents would rent a house near the beach. The renovations were great. Fully stocked with everything you needed. Thanks for all the spices! Love the sofas, and you had throws. The furnishing was amazing. The beach was so nice. I would definitely recommend highly and come back again.”

“Overall, an okay little house. As other reviews state, both mattresses should be replaced. One is cheap and you feel the springs clearly, and the other is long in the tooth. Fridge had been replaced, but the old one bizarrely left on the deck next to the front door (!?). BBQ dirty on arrival. Didn't use it because of that. You get what you pay for with this one. Bird droppings all over the deck.”

“We had a lovely stay at Sunrise Cottage. Very quiet and relaxing location. Alan was a fantastic host and always there to help with any enquiries we had. Just a very small point, as we were staying for 6 nights we could have done with an extra towel each :) but other than that we were very impressed with the property and our stay”

“We chose to have a very quiet Xmas this year. Staying for 4 nights at Heron’s Rest was peaceful calm and serene. The surroundings and scenery are beautiful with the dam taking centre stage with lotus flowers bobbing and blooming. A glass of wine on the pontoon and watching our dog get control of her ‘Pontoon legs’ was very entertaining! We had everything we needed in the accommodation. The skyscraper loaf of bread was sublime. We would definitely return. Thanks again to our hosts.”

“Garden Hill Retreat is truly the hidden gem with magnificent and magical gardens and a wonderful well-appointed sandstone cottage with a wood-burning stove. The cottage is serene and sublime. It overlooks the beautiful veggie garden, rose garden, Mediterranean garden and lotus pond. There are wonderful features: croquet lawn, tennis courts and an indoor swimming pool to enjoy.
