  • This Victorian-style Sandpoint home sits on a gorgeous expanse of lush green grass and pine trees and features lovely views of Lake Pend Oreille from the private deck! The downstairs game room boasts a foosball table, a game table for those poker nights with friends, and a mounted flatscreen TV in the corner, perfect for watching ballgames and your favorite movies. The living room boasts lake views, comfortable furniture, and lots of natural light highlighting every grain of the stylish burnished wood interior. Off the living room, the sunroom offers beautiful lake views, vaulted wood ceilings with skylights, and an attractive table/chair set, perfect for Sunday brunch and al-fresco meals. You'll also have plenty of seating, spectacular views, and fresh air to take in when you dine out on the private deck. The full kitchen comes with all the stainless steel appliances, cookware, and counter space you need to inspire your inner chef and the dining table can seat up to 10 guests, plus there are three barstools at the breakfast bar for the kids to swing their feet from. You'll find a bedroom with a king-size bed on the main level, and upstairs, the main bedroom offers another king bed and lake views. The second bedroom has a queen bed, the third has a twin-over-full bunk and another full bed, and the fourth enjoys a king bed. This home is close to all kinds of great activities and there is plenty of awesome mountain biking available right from the home. And don't forget to take a break in the private hot tub with a glass of wine now and then!

    Be sure to check out all the delicious restaurants nearby like Fifth Avenue Restaurant, Fiesta Bonita Mexican Restaurant, Forty One South Restaurant, and Beet and Basil. Schweitzer Resort is less than 14 miles away with terrific winter skiing and snowboarding available and summer guests love spending their afternoons down at Sandpoint City Beach Park, just five-and-a-half miles south.

Family Time

The house was the perfect getaway. The layout was perfect for our family to spreadout. Even with the smoky air due to fires we had a great time. Look forward to coming back.

My husband and I visited for a much needed getaway. The house was spectacular. We loved the hot tub at night for star gazing. We were even visited by some wild life. Very peaceful and quiet. We will be back.

Excellent group vacation spot

Everyone agreed we’d stay at this house again. Beautiful view of the lake from the living room picture window and hot tub, plenty of room to spread out, and easy parking/unloading. Location is excellent for skiing - I thought it would be a little far but was wrong. It was so easy, especially to the shuttle. All in all, highly recommended rental house.

Amazing beautiful getaway!!

This home is extremely cozy and beautifully located with an amazing views of the lake. With trees all around and the fresh clean air, it was the perfect getaway. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We had little ones and everything was safe and cozy for them. We grilled, played games, enjoyed the view with our morning coffee, and went into town for shopping and a bike ride. I highly recommend we will definitely stay again!!

Fantastic

Excellent! Will be back! Only minor issue was the groundskeeper mowing and weed whacking for 2 hrs from 1-3pm. Tough to have the kids napping during that time. Seemed like it could’ve been scheduled when occupants weren’t on the property. But really a fantastic spot!

Nice family getaway

Enjoyed our stay! House was a perfect size for all of us. We liked early checkin. It was short on supplies ie garbage bags, paper towels and tp and no laundry soap. Liked that it was pet friendly and Hottub was a nice evening relaxation! Saw several deer too

What a View!

This sprawling home provides great space for all whether you need bedrooms or for family fun! The kitchen worked well for all. For us the sunporch and back deck were our haven. The views whether watching the sunrise or a full moon were breathtaking of the lake and mountains in the distance. The hot tub was a great way to wrap up a long day. We’re hoping to be back again!!

Beautiful views from many rooms, the hot tub and the deck. Lots of space, indoors and out. Solarium. Good area for dog walking. Deer came onto the field next to the house. Lots of birds. Good wi-fi. Lots of power outlets. Big bathtub in master bath. New hot tub. Two-car garage. Foosball table in the finished basement, which has its own entrance. Check-in and check-out are easy but too late (4 pm) and early (10 am), respectively, though late check-out is available for a fee.

Beautiful location with lots of space.

The views from the home were wonderful. The layout of the house worked well for our group of 5. The hot tub was enjoyed every evening. Most nights we cooked in and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Beautiful house and location. Great view. Comfortable for our group. However a GFI tripped in kitchen and could not reset. This required moving coffee maker, microwave, toaster to other plugs around kitchen to operate. Range fan over stove does not work. Called Vacassa on these issues. On hold for over 30 minutes, gave up and emailed them. I still have not received a response. While I recognize Vacassa is you agent for this property, a poor experience with them can have an impact back to property owners. In the end I would rent this property again. However I would keep an eye on Vacassa questionable experience.

Ski Trip

Great value! We stayed with 3 couples and 1extra, very clean and plenty of space. The house was a good location, only about 10min to town and 25min to the mountain. Unbelievable views of the lake and surrounding hills, can't beat a dip in the hot tub and food on the grill after a day of skiing. We will return

Hard to imagine a better getaway cabin

We came in winter with two families, including 4 teenagers and one grandma. The place is a 10 minute drive from Sandpoint with a stunning view of the lake. Everything worked well, including the wifi, due to some substantial antennas on the roof aimed at some transmitter is town. The people who mind the place do an excellent job. The kitchen is well-appointed with basic gear. We cooked 5 out of 6 nights and found most things we needed. Laundry worked great. TV worked great. Hot tub worked great. Coming home from a hard day skiing, sitting in the tub, gazing at the lake, drinking a beer... It is hard to imagine a better venue for a family vacation. We will return.

Great getaway!

We had a wonderful stay in the Sandpoint. The house was well suited to our group of friends. It was an easy drive to town and to the ski resort. The owners were extremely responsive.
