“The cottage itself is solidly built and the kitchen and bathrooms of good quality. The problems we had were with the quality of the furnishings etc and the difficulty, despite the admitted best efforts of the agent, in getting things resolved. Both bedrooms had broken blinds. So we remained in the dark all week. The kitchen bin lid didn’t shut. We got a new bin after 4 nights. There were no vegetable knives. We got knives after 4 nights.
