It was an okay stay. I have no complaints about the staff or my sleep there.
I paid $65 (after Expedia discounting) for a night's stay, so I got what I paid for.
The main issue I had was how dirty things were.
They were renovating other rooms, and I could tell they were making a lot of changes, so I won't complain about that.
However, I am worried that the contractors they hired are being sloppy.
In my room alone, I had a wire attached to a lightbar that had been stripped and was dangling for the whole world to see.
My fridge wasn't plugged in, and the outlet where it should have been was poorly spackled and painted over. The good thing was that it had an outlet cover under the spackling.
The sink piping was visible, but that looked at least well done. However, the sink did not flow right and seemed to sputter a lot. I think it might be the faucet's fault.
The map showing the fire escape routes on the back of the door was painted over, and someone looked like they tried to scratch it off at some point.
Leftover paint smears were on the windows, as if someone tried to clean it and then gave up.
Various low spots in the flooring make me wonder if there was water damage under the newer flooring.
Various other minor construction complaints that only someone like myself would worry about.
Other than that, I would like to say I would stay there again. Maybe not until they finish all the remodeling....and maybe redo what was already supposedly done.
