Amenities were in good condition. The twin beds did 'roll' all over the floor whenever you turned over in them during the night. Nice and Clean and close to beach. Dog somewhere near us barked a lot. Would have been better not to have the temporary 'office' behind the back slider door, but I assume that they will have a new office eventually elsewhere. Didn't get to meet Sara in the office however my sister did and said she was very nice. Also met a lady on the beach who actually had a place here for 5 years and she commented on Sara right away so that was nice. Would definitely go and stay again. Thank you

I would highly recommend this property. We had a couple of minor problems but it was immediately fixed. The condo was clean and comfortably accommodate all four of us. We stuck to the ocean but if you had small kids there was a pool on the property.

Sanibel Siesta

We truly enjoyed our short stay at Sanibel Siesta. Our communication with the managers was courteous before and during our stay. You can't beat the location. We were in the unit farthest from the beach and still it took us two minutes to have our toes in the sand. The pool area is lovely. This is a family vacation spot so if you don't want to listen to kids play and siblings squabble, go to the pool early and then move to the beach when the pool fills up with families. We would most definitely consider bringing our adult children and grandchildren for a return visit. The beach furniture for our unit could have used an update. Everything else we needed was provided in the condo.

Sanibel Getaway

We had a very enjoyable stay. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Everything needed to cook and for the beach was readily available. There was a problem with the satellite tv, but it was taken care of promptly. However, the internet did not work. After talking to management several times, the problem was never resolved. I would recommend for a stay.

Condo was great except for an AC problem one day. It was fixed right away-no problem. The grounds were beautiful and the proximity to beach was great from any unit. Would love to return someday.

Low Key Stay

The location was good, minutes from the beach. I usually pick nice hotels but since I didn’t find any in the area, I decided to book a VRBO. The place was adequate and the price was right. The staff was super helpful. The pool was bright and clean. If you’re used to nice hotels, this is not that. I think I was just a bit disappointed, not really understanding the VRBO concept. No one to ask about local amenities after the office closed. Also no daily maid service. I think if you generally stay in VRBOs you’d like this place a lot. It was clean, well stocked with the basics and in a good location.

Overall very good trip. Unit Had a visible ceiling leak in master bath shower, which was reported to manager. Manager should recommend updating verticals blinds, lamps and add full length mirrors .

Lovely Sanibel Siesta

My only complaint is the extra cost to provide a king room with a “Bridge”. That stunk and did t work well and the beds were not comfortable in either room. Bring OFF. I’m going home with tons of No see ummm bites. That is not the fault of Sanibel Siesta. Only the beds. I hate that owners put REALLY crummy beds in most condos they rent. This is a vacation for people renting from you... there should be decent beds. The ice maker didn’t work either and a full length mirror would be great in the condo.

All we could ask for!

Great sized room perfect for a group of 6, ocean views, pool access, and proximity to the beach was unbeatable! Beach toys on hand to borrow which was great for our kiddos. Office staff was kind and helpful. We had a wonderful time!

Our first vacation rental

This was our 1st foray into the vaca rental process so I was a little nervous. We couldn’t have been happier. The condo was great and we had a fantastic time. I figured we would use it as a basecamp and it wouldn’t matter, but the weather had us indoors for a day; if we had been in a hotel scenario my kids would have killed each other. All of the staff were wonderful and the location can’t be beat. Sanibel is amazing and we will definitely be back. My only ‘con’ vs. a hotel would be that you aren’t immune to surrounding noise. Our last night we had upstairs neighbors who used their sliding glass door hundreds of times. I don’t think they were loud, they just weren’t aware that it sounds like they were in our bedroom until 1am. If they had been there the entire time it would have been miserable. Still totally a win and worth it. The pool and beach access were unbeatable.

We all love Sanibel, and unit #406.

Great location. Lots of privacy for a condo complex. Unit was well decorated, and handled four adults and an eight year old very well. We all agree that we would stay in this unit again. Nothing I can think of to ding this unit on.

Comfortable and on the beach

The property is a little older, but well cared for and just right for a casual beach vacation. Convenient to great restaurants, well equipped kitchen for eating in. Loved watching the bunnies at night while waiting for the incredible sunsets.

Our Sanibel Siesta stay was great- we loved the apartment - the view of the garden was wonderful-flowers on trees were blooming - and it was so close to beach my elderly mother got to take her walker on the wooden walkway to enjoy her days looking at the ocean. Apartment was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. Thanks!

Unit was clean and well decorated!

Extremely positive experience staying at Sanibel Siesta on the Beach! Unit was stocked with more than enough towels for us for the week as well as other miscellanous items. The unit also had beach chairs, sand toys and boogie boards. We had an issue with the dishwasher (it may have been user error) and maintenance came immediately and took care of the issue. As another reviewer stated this unit is on the first floor which made unloading our vehicle easy. We definitely look forward to returning again in the near future!

Great, comfortable property

We enjoyed this unit. It is on the ground floor in a 3 story building. One unit on each side of us. Not incredibly noisy but you can hear others around you. Parking was fine. Very close to the beach (a short walk). They actually had a few beach chairs for your use. Condo was clean. Great screened in patio. Oven would smoke a little when using it but otherwise appliances worked well (stove, microwave, coffeemaker, blender). Washer and dryer onsite but not in unit. Has great pool also. The condo is close to a bike path. Overall, we had a great experience. You are further away from some of the nicer beaches such as Bowman’s or Captiva. They can take you up to 40 minutes with traffic. Although, the condo is on the beach so you have easy access to a beach. Would consider staying here again.
