Casita Dulce was a wonderful place to spend 5 nights. A good location to explore Santa Fe, Taos, nearby National Parks and bask in the friendly atmosphere of New Mexico. All the comforts of home were available ( a particularly comfy bed after spending much of our vacation on less than comfy hotel room beds) . The casita hosts a considerable array of unique pictures and artifacts throughout, that contribute to the overall enjoyment

Property was clean and in an excellent central location of the city. Kitchen was well stocked even with pans, seasonings, cooking oils and other simple everyday use items you may have forgotten to bring. Bed was comfortable. AC and heat worked well. Jacuzzi tub is a great touch. Host was very friendly. You enter through their side gate at the end of the driveway and it’s an independent casita that’s part of their backyard. Also able to use the washer and dryer that’s part of the casita building.

The casita is charming with a well-stocked kitchen. Great place to stay, especially for an extended stay. The host is very welcoming and checked in throughout the stay. The host and manager were helpful and responsive. Great location! I would stay here again.

Trouble with the shower. Tiny insects on kitchen counter. Couldn’t tell the source. Not a lot, just intermittent. Street parking only. Host on site was great. Fixed the shower herself. One gate in the yard wouldn’t stay closed so bungee corded it so our dog wouldn’t get out. Bed was very comfortable. Bath towels were top notch.

Loved our stay at Casita Dulce. Everything was as shown in pictures. Every night was a peaceful nights sleep in a residential neighborhood on a quiet street. Great restaurants in walking distance (1/2 mile walk or more). Everything is an easy drive to get to. We didn’t use the stove or toaster oven, just the microwave. Nice large screen TV’s for that downtime after a hard hike. We took advantage of the private yard to lounge on the chairs that are provided. The hosts were great and always quickly responded to any questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Casita Dulce is located in a quiet neighborhood close to everything. Close to downtown, railyard etc. I can't say enough about how nice the casita was. Everything was as pictured even better. Leslie was a great host and was there if we need something. Definitely will return

Comfy, Private space with a friendly artful vibe

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casita Dulce. Leslie was great to talk to and was a friendly face to encounter a few times during our 2.5 week stay. She was helpful and responsive when we had a few questions or needed something, and is just plain delightful. I did not meet Richard in person, but he was cheerful and helpful as we booked the apartment and changed our dates a few times before arriving. Centrally located, Casita Dulce was convenient and it was easy to get to Site Santa Fe and other places on our list. We loved the comfy casita, with a great comfortable bed and lots of pillows to choose from. The bathroom had a spacious tub and shower we enjoyed, and there is a cozy living room where we watched a few minutes of tv at the end of the day. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and a there was a spacious fridge. The living room and bedroom have sliding doors to the patio to let in a cool breeze. We loved the private back patio with a lovely apricot tree that bore delicious fruit. Situated behind the main house, our casita felt safe and private. Staying there added ease and comfort to our vacation. We will definitely be back.

Nice trip

The place was in a very nice place, for walking around to most things. It was very clean. Decorated very nice. If you don't mind parking on the street and the WiFi not the greatest, then this is a great place We parked on the street and had no problem, I prefer parking in a driveway. That is just me. It had a very nice lawn area also. I would definitely recommend this place, as long as you don't mind parking on the street.

Casa Dulce Experience

The property was very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet, very little traffic. Even though we didn't use it, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. My dog loved the fenced in yard.Overall we had a wonderful stay.

Cozy Comfortable Casita

The casita was better than we expected. It was cozy and comfortable for the two of us with eclectic decoration and furnishings. The hosts welcomed us and were prompt to answer a couple of questions, but afterward everything we needed was in place. A walking trail was two blocks away, and we wished the weather had allowed us to enjoy it more. The Historic District would have been an easy walk, but we drove since the weather was unpredictable during our stay. We loved the outdoor patio, and the screen doors allowed us to enjoy the cool temps while sitting inside. The kitchen and bath provided all of the needed essentials. The bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of drawer and closet space for clothing storage. We would stay here again, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Santa Fe area.

Perfect Place for our Fall Santa Fe Visit

We come to Santa Fe every summer, often with family, and have stayed in every part of town. This trip was different. We came in the fall by ourselves and wanted a place that was in a quiet neighborhood, but within walking distance to town. This property fit the bill. It is a one-bedroom (huge king bed) spotlessly clean, charming casita with the most extraordinary garden surrounding the casita, complete with two chaises, table with 4 chairs and a new grill located in a private part of the garden for use by the casita. The casita is located directly behind the owners' house, with a private entrance into the garden which at night is flooded with motion lights as you safely make your way to the casita's door from your car, which is easily parked on the street in front. The street is only one block off a busy road, but we never heard any traffic at all. Living room furniture is comfortable with a mix of art and antiques which add to the charm of the casita. Laundry facilities (very nice ones) are located conveniently in a small building next to the casita. Kitchen is well-stocked with essentials, large fridge, stove, microwave, etc. A table for 4 connects the kitchen and living room. Leslie, the owner, is gracious and helpful. There is a written guide to the casita and local attractions. There is a small collection of books to peruse. A popular cafe and a noted restaurant are short walks away. Groceries, too, are close by. We loved our stay here! It was perfect for us!

Another great stay in Santa Fe

For my wife and I Casita Dulce is a delightful place to stay. The Casita is perfect for two people, has all of the amenities one needs: a full kitchen (ex dishwasher), a great fridge & stove, etc., plus a very comfortable bed. It has a/c which was needed as the outside temp was in the low 90s. The neighborhood is peaceful and very quiet, and yet is only ~12min walk to the Railyard. Major grocery stores are right nearby.
