Very nice house and overall we were mostly comfortable here. Note: upstairs bedroom was very warm and there is no attached bathroom. The problem was that it was impossible to get ahold of the property mgmt company! The previous renter left a note that was still on the kitchen counter when we checked in - and none of what they reported had been fixed. We had problems w/ one of the toilets in the house, and I messaged the Mgmt. company (no response), and called them multiple times. Usually calls went to VM, but the one time I got thru, the guy couldn't tell me why nobody was responding or when someone would be out to fix things. Nobody ever followed up to address problems during our stay. So disappointing considering the price we paid.

The property was breathtakingly beautiful with views to die for! Felt private and tucked away. Location was perfect and an easy drive to grocery store and downtown area. There was plenty of room for our family to spread out with 4 bedrooms downstairs each with their own en-suite bathroom and one more bed upstairs (only downside to that room was no bathroom, so we had to go downstairs in the middle of the night to use the half bath and also borrow one of the other rooms bathrooms to shower). The place was immaculate and was fully stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of towels and linens, extra pillows, and enough toilet paper, paper towels, etc that we didn’t have to buy any during our 6 day stay. The kitchen was a chefs dream and was well appointed and perfect for cooking big meals. The only thing we couldn’t find that we needed was a cheese grater and we purchased one and left it there. Loved all of the seating in the huge living room, there were 2 sofas, a sectional, and 2 comfy chairs. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of room to spread out and have movie night. The only feedback I have is that the mattresses weren’t the greatest- the memory foam mattress in the primary bedroom had a big hump in the middle and not much support on the sides. Check in and check out was super easy. We had zero issues so didn’t have to communicate with the property owner/management. Overall, this place was a 10/10 and we would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!

This is the first time I've ever booked with any home rental service. Calle Dorthia was beautiful, and spacious with stunning views. Vrbo made it easy, and Kokopelli, the property management company was very helpful during our stay. My only recommendation is to be more communicative prior to the actual booking. I had unanswered questions while I was debating between several properties for our family get together.

I've stayed in many VRBOs. This property is exceptional in all ways. The view from the living room is spectacular, as well as from the outdoor seating areas. The house is very spacious allowing guests private spaces and multiple places to gather for meals and socialization. I loved the Southwest and modern decor. The grounds are beautifully manicured. HIghly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. It was large enough to accommodate our group and had everything you could possibly need. The decor was beautiful and vistas stunning while you have your morning coffee. This was a very convenient location for sightseeing. I highly recommend and we hope to return again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dorthia Garden Retreat & Views! The property was very spacious for our group of 10 + 1 infant and it was very near Santa Fe plaza, great restaurants, and convenience / grocery stores. The property managers were very helpful and accommodating!

We loved everything about this house. There were a few things that needed some maintenance however. Blinds that weren’t working, a few windows that wouldn’t open, the upstairs lights wouldn’t turn on, etc. We hope that the property manager can have someone come out periodically to make sure everything is in working order. We had such a great stay though in beautiful Dorothea Garden Retreat.

This is a beautiful spacious home with decks on all sides to enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains. The sunrise coming up over the eastern mountains will take your breath away. We will be back. Thank you for the great memories.😊

We enjoyed the space and views of this property. Close to downtown plaza and shopping, restaurants. Wish it had AC instead of evaporative cooling on these hot days. Great outdoor entertaining spaces. A good experience.

The upscale home was as described in the listing with easy access to downtown Santa Fe. The kitchen was well equipped with modern gourmet appliances. The living room was very spacious with ample seating for 10+. The furniture was comfortable. The weather did not allow use of the outdoor space but would have been nice for our group of 8 overlooking great views. The views could also be enjoyed from large windows in the living room. The only negative would be the BBQ was not clean to the point that I would have been hesitant to use it. Overall, it was a beautiful home, and we would definitely rent it again.

The Dorthia Garden Retreat created the perfect atmosphere for our family holiday vacation. It all started with the accurately worded description and images followed by the perfectly timed communications and easy to follow check in/check out processes. The management of this property was perfect. The Dorthia Garden Retreat is situated on top of a beautiful hill that overlooks the valley with a view of the nearby mountains. The view from the living areas created an uplifting spirit in our entire family. The well designed and apportioned kitchen with island bar encouraged group effort for meal preparation. We ate delicious hardy home cooked meals. The large comfortable bedrooms with baths gave us the privacy and quiet that was needed by our growing family. The babies took their naps while the adults shared pictures and memories from the days events. Santa Fe offers family fun shopping and entertainment. We took advantage of both. We took the babies to the mountains to sled in the snow and to explore the mysteries of Meow Wolf. We shopped in the town square for holiday memory souvenirs. The Dorthia Garden Retreat was our refuge after our long energy absorbing excursions! We highly recommend this beautiful home.
