The view of the beach was beautiful! We did have to have a shower schedule because the hot water didn’t last long but overall, it was a great condo!

Great place in a great location!

This property is exactly what we were looking for. I’ve seen other reviews call out that the beach access is far away, but it’s not. There is a community golf cart that picks up and drops off all day every day to your beach access. If you want to walk, it’s less than 10 min. The condo itself is very clean and spacious for a 2 bedroom. Will stay here again!

Great stay…except the beach laws.

Loved our vacation stay in this newly renovated condo! Plenty of room for our family of three. And the views from this condo are great! We used both pools multiple times. Absolutely no complaints about the condo itself. Loved it!!However….. If you rent this condo, be advised. My only complaint would be directed at South Walton county private property beach laws. Private property signs littered the beach. Public beach access (for chairs, umbrellas, etc.) for this condo is about a 7-10 minute walk from the property. In my personal opinion, ALL the beach should be pubic property, not private property. Do better South Walton County!!! In all fairness, the condo DID provide a golf cart shuttle to make the trip to the beach quicker. I’ve read where the State of Florida is in the process of reversing these beach laws. Unfortunately, until these ridiculous laws are overturned, we will look at other destinations to vacation.

Great stay

The actual property is awesome. Such a great use of the space. However, before you book this one make sure you pay attention to where your beach access point is. It’s not visible in the pics. The beach out in front of it is private. That is disclosed in the description of the property, but having never been to this area I was unclear of what “5 minute” walk to the beach was referenced. That said, it was a great spot with beautiful views.

Beach access

Having to walk almost a mile to actually enjoy the beach was terrible. “Beachfront view” from the room but it was a private beach, where a man sat daily, making certain you weren’t on his “ private beach!” It was a shame to stay in such a nice condo but then have to walk and haul all the beach items so far! This will prevent me from staying here again!

Amazing view from balcony. Nicely decorated, but furniture needs to be cleaned. Wall next to top bunk is very soft, possibly water damage. Unusual smell as you enter and bugs.

Great All-around

Great view and very nice, updated interior. The unit was ready early for us on arrival and very clean. Easy access to the beach just steps away but be aware most of the portion of the beach closest to the condo is private. You either need to get your chairs out early or walk down the road to the beach access available to the condos. The location is pretty central to anywhere you want to go on 30A as well. Only suggestions from a personal comfort standpoint would be TVs in the bedrooms and to have cable or some sort of live TV. It’s streaming options only which makes it tough for sports fans, particularly during Masters week which is when we were there. Overall we loved it and would definitely come back!

Beautiful!

The condo was beautifully remodeled and the views were breathtaking. Very rare to get this close to the beach in this area in a condo so nice. My only 2 points about the complex- the pools are not heated in late March and there are no elevators. We already knew this, but wouldn’t want anyone to be caught off guard. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at “Point of View”. It was a great space for our size group, and of course, that view was incredible! It's a little odd that you're not allowed to use the beach you see from the condo balcony (it's a private beach for the surrounding properties), but thankfully, the public beach is not far at all. Definitely within walking distance. We had some minor issues with the property that we worked around, but the property owner was very responsive during and after our stay, and they took all of our feedback graciously. I don't think the issues we encountered will be a problem moving forward. We hope to visit 30A again in the future, and if the timing and circumstances work out, we would consider “Point of View” again.

Beautiful view of the beach

The cons: Upon arrival there was a horrible stench smell coming from the condo and there were a couple of questionable stains on the couch and bedroom bed comforters and linings. It took us a few minutes to work the tv remotes and finally realized all of the info on how to use it was in the welcome binder. The pros: Great parking and loved the location and view of the beach from the condo!!! There were plenty of beach chairs and toys for the kids to use on the beach. Very easy access to beach from the condo.

September Beach Trip

Overall great view and location to the beach. I only have one complaint, the cleanliness was not good at all. There was brown and black hair on the couch and rug in the living room. We also found it randomly throughout the place (bedrooms/ bathrooms) . Other than that I highly recommend this location for a nice getaway.

Point of View

At first we were VERY disappointed with our unit! Could not operate the Smart TV because we have Dish Network at home and had no codes for subscriptions to log in. After 2 days of my husband wanting to return home, Kelley sent Makaela to our rescue. She was able to get it working after my daughter used her password for Hulu. (Didn’t accept it first4 times we tried). She also pointed out that our ice maker was not working because no one told us there was a small fill station in the refrigerator that needed to be refilled several times a day. She brought us bags of ice to help even after I told her it was not necessary. Lock on door was a bit temperamental at first but maintenance checked it out. After all this our weather was beautiful, beds were so comfortable and view of beach was spectacular. This condo is one of the best I’ve rented. Pricey but worth it to me. Just sorry there is not an elevator but I knew upfront and it worked out fine! I will definitely want to stay at Point of View again. Thank you Kelley and Michael Savage for being there for us when needed! Just a heads up: be sure your car pass is in place. . . We got a warning the day we arrived before we could get in our room to get the pass. Funny but happened, warning only so no problem.

It was the perfect location. The view was perfect. My only complaint is, that you can not sit on beach in front of Condo, it’s a private beach. So you do have to walk down further. But other than that great place.

Beautiful condo with Fantastic view

This condo was just perfect… It is even better than the photos! The entire unit is modern, fresh, and immaculately clean. And the ocean view from the open concept living /dining / kitchen area as well as from the primary bedroom is just spectacular. The clear blue water and white sand is just steps from the unit. The beds were all very comfortable , the kitchen well equipped with useful appliances and dishes, and the washer / dryer came in very handy. The location is not in a busy area , but close to great restaurants and shopping. The communication regarding check in/out etc was clear and timely making the entire experience very pleasant. There is just so much to do on 30A or even better…nothing at all relaxing in this delightful condo or on this gorgeous beach. We will return!

Beautiful views

Had a wonderful stay. Condo was clean and getting in and out was so easy. Great communication with the owners. Only thing I could mention that might be a little better was the space on the beach for these particular condos was not very wide. Totally out of control for the condos though. Overall had a wonderful stay.

Perfect Location!

This property became available as we were scrambling after the property we had reserved became unusable on short notice. We could not be more grateful for how things tuned out. The location is literally steps from the (private) beach, with a lovely view, and a fantastic recent renovation of the unit. Kelley and Michael were easy to communicate with, and have done such a lovely job. Can’t recommend highly enough.
