It's location just a short walk from the town center and beach pavilion made our stay enjoyable. We were able to walk and bike to our destinations easily. The house was clean and well kept, and nicely furnished. I hope we can come back and stay again soon!

Our kids are married and now have Children. This was a great house for our family. everyone had their own room and bathroom and the rooms are large and roomy. You can’t beat the location of the house. Staying on Seaside Ave allowed is to walk to the circle where all the shops and restaurants are. Not to mention the fun entertainment at the amphitheater! My only recommendations to the homeowner is new bedding. sheets and sleeping pillows were not very comfortable especially for a longer stay. Other than that the house was very comfortable for our family.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location of the house and the street is one of the prettiest. Loved the porches! However the house needs updating and some maintenance. The dryer went out. Downstairs bathroom exhaust fan did not work. Fridge went out one day however we unplugged and plugged again and it came back on. Electrical outlets upstairs stopped in the middle of our hair drying.

Unfair Policies

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My 3-day stay at Vista Del Mar was OK, not great. There was a significant spider and large water bug problem and Master King room upstairs bath was not very clean.Also, your No Refund Policy unless there is mandatory evacuation is ludicrous and should deinitely have exceptions. We had to fly home early to avoid the possible storm or we may not have been able to fly out due to canceled flights later. You should be fair to those who HAD to leave early to get home safely to family. As it was, I spent 17 hours in travel to simply get a flight home to Tulsa from Panama City. I have used your services for many years but will not in the future.

Value in location

Seemed dated and somewhat in need of repair and cleanup. All dishes and utensils, taster and toaster oven had to be cleaned. Roaches were a daily battle. After unpacking and settling in, showered upstairs to find leak down to kitchen. Had to move and share bath. Plumber never called nor came to fix so we couldn’t use that bath or bedroom. The bathroom door would/could not close. The washer dryer set was so old and rusted, we had to be careful using as not to stain towels and clothes. When we went upstairs to tower to enjoy, we found work tools, paints cans and broken hammock on deck floor. They did come to fix that but later on day before we left. Christmas Daywas another exercise in washing by hand all the pots and pans we were using as well as knives, bowls and utensils. Window screen was off in back yard. All the wood flooring was marred and stained as I pointed out to representative that did come to check leak from shower to kitchen. Some of the vanity and shower fixtures upstairs and downstairs were loose and unsecured (also not caulked.). Several areas of ceilings were stained and or damaged as were vents rusted. Seemed a shame such a sweet home would be in this condition and rented at a premium price. I was told we would be credited the “fee” for inconvenience, but I’ve yet to hear from or see any credit. Hopefully, the owner coming in following our departure will attend to all the upkeep and exterminate.
