The cabin was great with everything except the hot tub. It had not been cleaned and pretty dirty. The cabin was set up great with everything, kitchen was amazing and we loved the fireplace!

Great vacation!

The home and location are both great. There are plenty of waterfalls near by and the community center is a huge plus if you have kids with you! We will definitely stay here again next year.

Great family vacation

We had a great stay for a multigenerational family vacation! Plenty of space for everyone and lots of activities to do in the area. The property manager was very responsive to the minor issues that can come up on any trip.

Peaceful location. The home was well stocked and very clean. It was perfect for our family reunion of young adult children. Loads of games, and access to mini golf, tennis, pool and lake.

Great weekend getaway

Beautiful location and great space. We comfortably slept 16 people and enjoyed cooking and eating together. Our maintenance issues were addressed quickly.

Fantastic experience

We had a phenomenal experience at this cabin. It was clean, incredibly well-stocked, and even nicer than the photos! The master suite was beautiful. Great location, not far from town or beautiful hikes. We had a group of 15 stay the weekend and there was plenty of room. We did bring an extra card table for seating so we could all be together in the main dining area.

Perfect house for our group!!

We had 8 adults and 8 young teens and this was the perfect house for us! Everything was clean. We utilized both kitchens and they were very well stocked. The ice machine was an incredible added feature that we used all weekend! The adjustable beds in the master bedroom was an added surprise. The deck space is incredible. The hot tub was fantastic. Overall, just a perfect place to enjoy some weekend snow!

Fantastic long weekend

House was exactly as described and the view was phenomenal. We had 13 people - extended family and our daughter’s roommates from Clemson. We had plenty of space for everyone. Played lots of games at the big table, ate great food, hiked Whitesides Mountain trail, and visited several waterfalls - Dry Falls was our favorite. Beautiful area. It was hard to tell from the house description, but three of the bedrooms are on the lower level by the game room. It sure is nice to have a second full kitchen down there! Bedroom on main level was great so grandma didn’t have to navigate stairs too much. We’d love to visit again!

Lookout review

We had a great stay at the Lookout Cabin. It was my father’s 80’s birthday and we had 16 adults. The master suite on the first floor was perfect for him, since he had difficulty with stairs. We enjoyed all of the amenities including the hot tub, fire gas fire pit on porch and the great view on the expansive porches. No real issues with the property. Was relatively remote, but we hung out at the house most of the time. Close to Gorge’s State Park, great hiking/beautiful waterfalls. Improvements that could be made: One of the beds downstairs was very hard and the pullout bed area too loud for sleeping. My family wants to make it a yearly tradition. Thank you!

Great family getaway

Our family (ages 5-74) had a wonderful stay at this property. From the moment we checked in until the moment we checked out, someone was available to assist us. Nan, the property manager, and I had a lovely chat when we arrived. The spacious layout of the house suited our wide range of ages perfectly; in fact, it was one of the reasons I chose this property. The younger kids loved sleeping in the 6 bunk beds in the loft, the older kids loved having their own space on the lower level, and the adults loved having 4 king bedrooms from which to choose. We also loved having a hot tub and a gas fire pit. The large kitchen had everything you could want, including an undercounter icemaker, a toaster oven, several coffeemakers, etc. Both the lower living area (which also has a kitchen) and the main living area have gas logs. All in all, a great place for making mountain memories!

Beautiful Cabin

This cabin was the best property I’ve ever stayed at! It was the perfect size and the property manager answered any questions quickly. Every room was gorgeous and we especially loved the large dining room and living room - perfect for game night. We will definitely return again soon!
