Nice Option for a Vacation in Sarasota

Lovely location. Quiet neighborhood. Beautifully landscaped and cared for community. Golf and walking paths within walking distance. A very nice option for a vacation in Sarasota!

Great location (and shower)

This location was perfect for visiting some family in the area. The unit is on the smaller size, but the two of us were only really there to sleep so that wasn’t an issue. Good communication with the property manager ahead of time as well, which made check in easy. The highlight was probably the rainfall shower—amazing! We would definitely stay here again.

Clean, quiet, and peaceful neighborhood

I had a wonderful stay in the Meadows neighborhood! The condo was very clean and had all the essentials. The neighborhood has lots of walking trails and is perfect to enjoy the outdoors. 5 mins from UTC and a 20 min drive to downtown Sarasota shops/dining. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to relax or stay for work related purposes!

ouir stay in the Meadows

appliances were new. no problems except refrigerator was noisy when running. area was very nice. pool was across the street and car was required to get there, view was not what I expected. view was of a putting green and small pond. tv only streamed what was on the internet. no current tv shows. privacy from clubhouse would be impossible once clubhouse re-opens. currently closed due to hurricane damage to roof.

If I could give zero stars I would!

This was the worst experience I have ever had in my history of short-term rentals. I went to check-in and as soon as I walked in was hit with the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. The property is listed as non-smoking. The air vents and smoke detector were stained yellow as proof. I was thus unable to check-in especially since I am extremely allergic to cigarette smoke and have health issues. I contacted the host immediately and he was very rude stating that there was no smoking allowed and refused to give me a refund. I had rented for a month so was out almost $2k. He tried to say it was oven cleaner. I am 40 years old and have smelled oven cleaner many times. I know what oven cleaner smells like. I know what cigarette smoke smells like. Then he went to the unit the next day and let me know he baked cookies (trying to mask the smell). He told VRBO that the smell was burnt cookies (story changed). I was in tears and ended up stranded with my cat. The property owner did not care. He just expected me to stay in a unit that was a health hazard. My mother went with me to check in and she 100% agreed it was cigarettes. This listing should be removed from VRBO.

Pleasant area and stay

Enjoyed my stay. The condo was very clean, comfortable and accomodating! I have family in southern Sarasota so this was a little out of the way from them, but I was happy with the whole set up. Plenty of close by parking, a quiet area with a nice walking trail and convenient to grocery stores.

A Lovely Villa!

This Impeccably clean, clutter-free, and beautifully decorated Villa is a very nice place to stay. A few standout features: -rainfall shower, plush towels & robes -immaculately clean kitchen outfitted with all the basics -peaceful neighborhood, nicely landscaped -shaded walking paths just out the door & across the street There's much to like about this property!

It was fine-did the job.

We booked this VRBO to be close to our family who was having a 90th birthday party for grandma. I have to say I was a little disappointed with the communication. I received check-in details only minutes before the actual check in "time". Normally from my experience I receive these at least 1 day ahead of time. Not only that, I texted the owner and emailed via VRBO multiple times and never received a response. I called the owner and the man that picked up was not very friendly at all. The coffee machine needs replacing as it was a knock-off Keurig maker, and literally got coffee grounds everywhere- it was a mess. After reading the directions twice on the washer/dryer combo- I ran the dryer twice and it still did not dry my clothes. Thankfully it was warm outside so I let them dry outside. Another thing was the shower- after about 15 minutes in the shower it got cold. Not sure if this happens when other people take showers in other adjacent condo's, but it was unsettling. My husband and I also woke up to either a weed whacker or a lawn mower at 5:30 on a Saturday morning. That isn't the owners fault, but the HOA should definitely change that ordinance. Finally- I never received any check out information regarding what to do with sheets, dishes, trash etc. and we were leaving around 4am the next morning. I did not see any welcome book regarding this information and didn't bother to ask.

House was exactly as listed, very clean, very comfortable stay. The host has this house set up with everything you will need. The host answers questions quickly and accurately, will definitely stay here again!

Great Property

Small but fantastic. With just the two of us it worked! The property was very clean and nicely decorated. The only issue we had was finding it. Once we figured it out our stay was awesome!

This condo was ideal for my husband and me. Close to shopping and restaurants. Very nice walking paths. A wonderful rainfall shower. It would sleep 4 but would be a little tight. Easy to communicate with our host. Nicely decorated.

The property was beautiful and excellently furnished for two people. Location would have been excellent had we been able to access all the amenities surrounding the property since the beach was so far away.
