Good location: 5 min to the beach. 5 mins to StArmands circle , but noisy, too close to the bouleva

The kitchen counter are tape. they need new arborite. the whole apt needs painting. There is no starter to the BBQ.Windows are dirtys. the is a dead animal (lezard) between the kitchen window and the screen.

Good location for beach goers and shoppers. Main gripe is noise which was terrible at night and morn

It was adequate. Decently equipped but house is in poor repair and one mattress was terrible. Much street noise but close to beach and food/shopping on St Armand’s.

AWESOME LOCATION

The furniture is a little dated but we didn't spend a lot of time inside. The location is amazing, and placed was very clean. It had everything we could possibly need for our stay. We will definitely stay here again.

The place definitely needs updated. Wicker furniture is not going for hanging out on rainy days.

I was a bit underwhelmed by this place. Wr had a bit of trouble keeping the upstairs bedrooms cool due to no central air upstairs. The fact that the washer and dryer were pay was the icing on the cake.

The location is perfect!

Just steps from the beach, shopping and dinner! We enjoyed the bikes and spent time at the local pool! Lido Key is beautiful!!

Location, location, location

Yes, the house is very stale and desperately in need of renovation, but we knew that and it served our needs perfectly. One block from the beach and one block from the circle at a good price. Just what we were looking for. We stayed in unit "A". Communication was good with the host. There were 3 bikes to ride in the garage (great perk). Also in the garage were chairs and umbrellas for the beach, a coin washer, and coin dryer. The garage and dock are also shared by the 2 other units on the property. There was also a large water dispenser in the kitchen. We liked having that as well. There is no grocery or convenience store option anywhere on the island. We didn't have a car, so we had a couple Whole Foods deliveries the week we were there. That worked great!

Used to be a great property.

I have been coming here for many years. The condition of the property is terrible. The busted drywall bottom of stairs, hole in ceiling of guest room, dead bees dropping from bees nest above side patio making it unusable, poles holding up the awning are totally rusted through. I think some money could be put back into the property to bring it up to code. I would be leery staying here with children. It is also on the corner of a very busy street. We have never had an issue with people walking through the property and onto our patio at all hours but that has changed. I felt like I was in Clearwater Beach, not St Armands Circle. On a positive note, water was provided and we saw manatees and many fish under the dock.

We had a great week in Lido. The property location is a 5 star. However if you are looking for luxury you will not find it here. The unit needs some tlc like a new oven that closes and new carpet upstairs but you can’t beat the location!!!

This property is old. It needs work. That being said it was a great time. The location is tip top. Beach a three minute walk. Shops and food just as close. The property served it’s purpose. I will be back.

Unbeatable location!

The location of this property is unbeatable - approximately one block from Armand's Circle and one block from the beach in the opposite direction. No driving necessary. It is an older property, but everything is in excellent working condition. Appliances and kitchen utensils are available for cooking needs. Garage has umbrellas and chairs for the beach. I had a couple of questions after check-in and the owner responded promptly. The patio upstairs was wonderful! There was a group of manatees that came in each evening by the boat dock. There is a coin washer/dryer in the garage for convenience, but you might want to bring quarters. The local businesses weren't keen on giving change. Overall, this was an excellent vacation rental experience.

Excellent location!

This property is in an absolutely prime location - a block walk from the beach and a block from all the shops! It had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing. The garage is stocked with everything you might need for the beach and the kitchen has everything needed to prepare your own meals. We loved sitting on the dock and the rooftop deck! Lido Beach is incredibly clean and safe feeling. The sand is super fine and soft and seashell hunting was a blast. We would definitely return.

Location, Location, location

The location was perfect. Fishing and a beautiful dock out your front door. Easy walk to the beach and an even easier walk to great restaurants and shopping. The owners could give the place a little attention which would make the place a five star.

Major overhaul Needed!

If you’re looking for location only, this may be the place for you! Otherwise, this place was a huge disappointment and we were very surprised it received as high a rating as it did. Curb appeal said it all with it’s peeling paint and worn outdoor furniture with a very dirty grill. Inside needed painting and again, major renovation. Formica in kitchen was coming off and taped in places. Carpeting going upstairs was old and very stained at the top. The bedrooms had nice king size beds and generous size, but only bathroom was upstairs. The two tv’s in bedroom didn’t work, but owner fixed one at our request. No blankets provided. The window and screens in the place were so old and discolored, it was hard to appreciate the view of the channel on the property. Also, some serious safety concerns; only smoke detector didn’t work and no carbon monoxide detector. Open staircase ( high railing) could be dangerous with little kids. With all this said, the owners were very attentive when we called with concerns, but they really owe their tenants much more than that. As former landlords, we realize the difficulty of maintaining places and try to give the benefit of doubt to owners. This property needs lots of TLC!

Relaxing stay

Overall, a great place to stay! You can't beat the location with St. Armand's right out your front door and the beach across the street. All the amenities you need. Definitely recommend the property!

Great location!

The location of the property was amazing. It was walking distance to the beach, and all the shops. We got Starbucks almost everyday. This place isn’t the fanciest but it had everything we needed. You do have to pay for the washer and dryer which I wish was mentioned, and this property is shared with two other properties. So sometimes it was hard to use the things included, even the dock, because everyone else was using it. I wish that was mentioned as well. Overall, we will definitely be coming back to this property.

Would definitely stay here again

The location of this place is amazing for a family!! Lots to do and see. Only a few minute walk to the beach and all the beach supplies there.. Fishing off the dock. Hosts are very accommodating and easy to communicate with.

Great get away, great location.

The worst part for my group was the 1 bathroom and that it was upstairs. I can see that would be a very hard thing for a family with children. The location was GREAT . Could use a little spiffing up carpet dirty at top of stairs. Things rusty in bathroom .

For starters, the location! Five minutes walk from one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen in my life. The unit might not be brand spanking new but very clean! It has everything you need to spend your vacation in comfort, whether you'd want to cook your meals (like we did) or go out to numerous of restaurants around. Thank you to managers/owners!

In love with Lido Beach!

Pros: Everything we needed to cook & go to the beach. Beach chairs, floaties & beach umbrellas in the garage. Bikes too! Hoping to rent this property again. It’s basically like walking across the street to get to the beach. Cons: We had to go home! No complaints. This property was affordable & can’t wait to go back.

3rd time

It's our 3rd time staying at this property. Nothing has changed. It could obviously use updating, but we LOVE the location and price! The canal and dock out back continue to provide a perfect location for my morning coffee, 5 minute walk to Starbucks, and the manatees and birds are the perfect company. Morning walks on the beach and the park right down the road where you can see the nesting Bald eagle pair. Really a wonderful spot to stay. We will be back again for as long as Ernie and Vicki are renting it out!

Perfect spot

The property is old and could use a little TLC but the location cannot be beat! Easy walk to beach and to St. Armand circle. Relaxing to sit on dock and watch for manatee. Bedrooms and only bathroom upstairs if mobility is a problem.
