Absolutely beautiful and clean. We really enjoyed our stay. The communication was great. Will definitely book again when I’m back in the area.Make sure you schedule an evening to watch the sun set. The neighborhood is very serene, and you can sit on the patio and enjoy it.

The location & cleanliness of the home were great. Kitchen & bathrooms very outdated, cabinet doors broken etc. We were only there for a few days so we ate out, but found the kitchen left quite a bitto desire.

The property was exactly what we hoped it would be. It is in a quiet neighborhood not far from great beaches and restaurants. My friend and I loved every minute! The sunsets were beautiful!

Cute & quiet

Nice quiet neighborhood. Only noise came from the airport thats in very close proximity. Close to great restaurants & stores. House was clean & spacious ( there were 3 adults staying). Gorgeous sunsets from the patio!

Sarasota Bay stay

The house is just as shown in the pictures. The addition of the outside table and chairs was perfect for our morning coffee and to watch the amazing sunset. The location is great for trips to one the local beaches or a bite to eat, without the craziness of the islands. All communication was quick and helpful. Thanks for a great week.Vicky

The house is so well decorated in mid-century modern decor and very charming. The location is wonderful. We sat on the back patio watching the sunset over the water while the bats flew overhead. It was just perfection! The host was incredibly responsive. The rules were clear for check-in and check-out. The house was clean and we had everything we needed for our quick weekend getaway. The beds were comfortable which is always a top priority for us. Would definitely stay here again!!

What a marvelous experience! Our time at this VRBO gem on the Gulf Coast of Florida was like stepping into a cloud of pure bliss. From the record player to the mesmerizing lagoon vistas to the cozy, inviting interiors, every moment felt like a warm hug from Grandma. The amenities were like little bursts of joy, and the location? We're already dreaming of our next escape to this magical retreat!"

The property was very cute and as described. My only issue was that the kitchen cabinets are basically falling apart. ( flooded before?). All other parts of the house were nice. Needs curtains in the back room. And the back areas and back bedroom were very hot

Great neighborhood, pretty bay water views, new toilets, good AC; good communication with host, but kitchen had a sirop type of smell that would not go away, not very clean bathtubs and showers (soap area), pieces of roof/pavers were out of place, 1 bedroom without curtains and broken walls, old sofa

Retro and Relaxing

This house is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. You can see the water from the house. The house is older and the showers were a little snug but I was comfortable. The beds and couches were extremely comfortable. I loved this bed more than my bed at home. There are no tvs in the bedroom which didn’t bother us because we had our phones but it’s something I noticed. There are a lot of retro touches and it’s a really cute place to hang out. It was a clean, relaxing house and my mom and I had a great time. I would definitely come back.

The home has adorable charm and is older which I am fine with. But it is a fixer upper that looks as though someone stopped working on it. From the construction materials and water heater sitting all over the backyard, poorly installed shelves and leaving gaping holes around electrical panels for the intruding geckos to crawl into , kitchen cabinet doors falling off that won’t close, to aging electrical that terrified me, showers that won’t drain and left you standing in ankle deep water, thrift store couches covered in blankets that I can’t imagine get washed…. The worst was the green bedroom bedding. It was definitely not changed from the last guest as it smelled like straight up armpits. It permeated everything in there. I was not able to sleep in there and slept in the other room with my daughter. Before I switched rooms the end of the mattress is so flimsy that I literally fell off the bed. My daughter did the same in her room and got a huge bruise on her rear. We also had no toiletries as advertised. We were also told the wrong check in day and that we’d be notified when early checkin was available which didn’t happen. It is directly in the nearby airport flight path which wasn’t advertised. It didn’t bother me but I imagine that would bother someone else. I appreciated the beach towels and chairs available for use. Overall I would not stay here again nor recommend. It needs some work and the linen cleanliness for bedding and towels is not up to par/not happening.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION.Our rating is based on the above…It’s a cute house, but definitely needs some TLC.Cabinets don’t open easily and pulls need screws.Outside lights didn’t work. Not the most comfortable couch…Host was very responsive and answered all questions immediately.Location and price point great! Loved the sunset views from the lot. We were able to launch our kayaks and paddle behind The Ringling Museum. Location is close to St. Armonds Circle and downtown Sarasota too!

Good location and nice neighborhood. Close to everywhere we had planned to go. House needs updating. Most electrical outlets and light switches didn’t work. Bathrooms showers are not for people over 5 foot tall. The space under the kitchen sink needs to be cleaned. It was nasty. Living room furniture was comfortable. View of the water was beautiful.

This is a pleasant place to stay even though I would call it a “ bare bones” place. Minimal supplies in the kitchen — only 4 knives, forks and spoons, for instance. Cooking a meal might be a challenge. No amenities like coffee pods, shampoo etc which are very often in other rental places. Beds are OK but not great. No box springs. The place is obviously nothing more than a short term rental. We only stayed two nights so for that it was OK. Best thing about it is the location and the outdoor patio.
