We enjoyed this beautiful property! It was everything the pictures showed and more! The whole family enjoyed the pool/spa area with the slide and water features. We utilized the grill, beach chairs, wagons and coolers, also. It was wonderful to have those available. The host (Robert) was very attentive. We were celebrating birthdays on our trip and was welcomed with a birthday balloon, cake and a bottle of wine. That was so thoughtful! We had a few fixes that were needed and the property manager Robert was very responsive whenever I had a question. He went above and beyond! The whole family loved the beach and shell hunting! We found alot and everyone was thrilled! We, also enjoyed going to the "St. Armands Circle" too. There was lots of shopping, great food, and we all enjoyed Arcade Monsters and Daiquiri Deck. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this rental to everyone!
The 'littles" loved the pool area!
Our balconies were wonderful and relaxing!
They boys enjoyed playing ping pong at the house!
We had several gorgeous days at the beach!

Family Fiesta

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was amazing with several gathering spaces and essentially 5 master suites. Plenty of space for our party of 13 the youngest of which were teens. It was as great as the photos made the property out to be. Pool and spa were refreshing. View from crowes nest was gorgeous. Management company was very on top of it and professional. The beach wagons and coolers came in handy. Easy walk to beach and the resort nearby which had very good food and drinks. Very convenient to St Armands. Great location overall. Mosquitoes were prevalent. Sprayed on Thursday which helped. One suggestion for owners is to change out barn doors for upstairs rear BRs for improved privacy.

Wonderful property! Clean and convenient to ocean and St Armands Circle. This property is beyond amazing! They thought of everything to make this property the best choice while on Lido Beach! Each bedroom had a full bathroom! And the swimming pool was perfect.

Great Family Vacation Home!

Very clean, spacious home! Fit all 13 members of our family! Very close walk to the beach. As well as to the Lido Key town for some nice restaurants and shops! Communication with the property manager was great. Any questions, they reached out back right away.

Beautiful Property!

Our family of 8 stayed at Shore Thing in Lido Key for a week. The house was beautiful, clean, and spacious. The room layout was perfect for our group and offered enough privacy for everyone. Each room has its own private bathroom which was also great. The pool area was private and the shaded areas around it offered the perfect escape from the sun after mornings at the beach. The beach is a short walk from the property and St. Armand's Circle is very close. The house offered everything you could need for a large group. Communication with our property manager was great. Leading up to our trip they provided every detail that you could think of and were quick to answer any questions. The check in process was easy and our property manager gave us a full tour, overview of the property and was great about communicating throughout our trip to help answer any questions. We will definitely be back!

Our family vacation of 14 was absolutely amazing. The house did not disappoint. Having the elevator for my elderly dad made things so much easier for him. He was able to enjoy all levels of the home. The pool was amazing and the property management team response time was fast and quick to address questions. Would absolute stay again and continue to make family memories!

Excellent property w a few caveats

I’ll start by saying this property is overall great. The home is well laid out w nice bedrooms, and the # of bathrooms is amazing. The “soft” product - kitchen items, towels, etc is the best I’ve ever experienced in breadth, quantity & quality. The property is clearly expertly managed, w quick communication & incredible cleaning (seriously, the home seemed brand new upon arrival). Now for the caveats / negatives — most important, the home has a fairly significant issue with sound. Maybe due to an overall lack on insulation when it was built, alongside the use of thin doors, minimal thick fabrics/furnitures, and the high ceilings (which we otherwise LOVE of course). You can hear a person speaking on the opposite side of the home, on a floor above/below. If you’re traveling w a group who goes to sleep/wakes up at the same time, this will be no issue whatsoever. We had some earlier risers (kids) & later sleepers (not their parents) and this was impactful, as you really can’t sleep later than the first person who wakes up and walks around / uses the home. We found similarly that you could hear people in the pool next door from the upper br, as an example (and they weren’t being particularly loud). Additionally, the water pressure throughout the house is very, very weak. This really is a great home, but not knowing about the sound “issues” in other reviews was a surprise. Assuming it’s not a problem for you, this is a 100% recommended rental. Amazing location, layout, and more

Perfect big group getaway

Beautiful home a block from the beach- very easy to come/go. Pefect place to stay with a large family or group of friends- lots of room to relax and hangout, we loved the pool, ping pong, games and big beautiful kitchen. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Stay!

This place was amazing! It was clean, beautiful, and the host was very friendly! The pool area was perfect, rooms were comfortable, and the game tables were fun, making it so hard to leave! We would stay here again in a heartbeat:)

Beautiful house

Had another house booked a year out but the owner had to cancel 5 days before our arrival due to a roof leak. Thought our visit was ruined but found Shore Thing and glad we did! Lovely home in a great area, had everything we had hoped for, would highly recommend this property.

A perfect stay

Thank you so much for a perfect stay my extended family ( my family of 4, 2 sisters and their families, with kids ranging from 6 to 14 years) as we celebrated Grandpa Mel's 80th birthday over Thanksgiving. The house was beautiful and exactly as described. Kitchen very well stocked to host several large family dinners. Location was more perfect than Literally a 2-minute walk to the beach, and nice saunter to St. Armand's Circle, and just a few minutes drive to downtown Sarasota to go grocery shopping or go out to eat. The hot tub heater broke one night and Vunique was immediately responsive, sending maintenance over the very next morning. We definitely hope to come back soon!

A wonderful property

This property is absolutely amazing. The check-in was very smooth. The accommodations were more than we ever expected. The property management was in constant contact with us to make sure that everything was going fine. The property is easily within walking distance to the ocean but we did have, a golf cart which made things a little easier. Was it very impressed and our family plans to go back someday.

Takes the cake.

Shore Thing was awsome. This place has everything you want and more. Very private and the beach is a block away. The shops are right up the street and have everything you want from food, ice cream, gelato, unique gifts and more. Would 110% rent this place again. The staff was very accommodating to a few problems we had and service was there immediately to fix the issue.
