Fun over fancy. There was a couple of awesome "private" patios in front of the room w chairs and picnic tables and one had a tiki roof too. Overlooking marina. There was airplane noise, but I slept thru it. The tiki was fantastic watching the airplanes land, great food and drinks and next to the pool, only a few easy steps away. Flying fish entertained us. Pool looked nice, free coffee in lobby. Room was fine, just not fancy. Bed comfy, so for me a big plus.

I cannot say enough good things about this rental. I have stayed at this hotel before and found it to be excellent. The last time I stayed in October, we stayed at the Ramada owned room. We found this rental to be even better. The atmosphere around the hotel was great. The morning breakfast was extremely reasonable at 10 and of course, the tiki bar with a live music and food was fantastic. It seems to be where all of the locals come, which makes it very festive.

Room was clean and as advertised. As a person with a Prosthetic leg the only thing that could have been more convenient would have been to have grab bars and a shower stool available in the shower .. would stay here again .

The location is perfect. Close to pretty much everything! Right on the bay. Music at the tiki-but not so loud you cant enjoy a quiet room! Host was super responsive!

I would stay at the Ramada again but I would go as a hotel guest and not use VRBO. You would want the amenities of the hotel. We had to pay for breakfast and toilet paper.We had to pay for breae wanted

Perfect vacation

Everything about this property was perfect. Room was clean excellent seating on the marina to view the sunset and listen to music from the Tiki Bar. They provided great entertainment along with friendly service and good food. We hope to be able to return to this property again next year

i LIKED THE WARM POOL AND THE RESTAURANT. NEAT TO BE ON THE MARINA. DIDN'T LIKE PAYING FOR bREAKFAST AND ONE MORNING I ONLY HAD $11.00 AND DESK DIDN'T HAVE 30 CENTS CHANGE REALLY. GETTING A SMALL SAMPLE BOTTLE OF SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER REALLY AND HAVING TO PAY $1.00 FOR OTHERS WAS OUTRAGEOUS. ALL MY OTHER HOTELS HAVE DOVE ATTACHED TO WALL-MAYBE YOU SHOULD LOOK INTO DOING THAT. CLOSENESS TO POOL AND FIRST FLOOR WAS SO NICE. HAVING A RESTAURANT THERE ALSO GREAT. IF I STAY AGAIN I'LL BRING MY OWN SHAMPOO FROM HOME TO SAVE MONEY.

Decent with a great tiki bar

I stayed here by myself for a week while my daughter stayed with her team for a soccer tournament. The reviews are accurate, no drainage in the shower (maintenance responded and fixed temporarily), very loud planes overhead, moldy bathroom tiles, bad shower head, however, the good things were proximity to Sarasota airport and beaches, price, and a great tiki bar with great food on site. The pool is nice and the marina is pretty. I would bring ear plugs (for bedtime) and plan to spend most of my time outside during your stay but overall decent room for decent price.
