Hermosa Casa

La semana pasada tuve la maravillosa oportunidad de visitar esta acogedora casa en Playa Hermosa Guanacaste. El paisaje que se puede ver desde el balcón es impresionante (disfruté de un hermoso atardecer y de la magnifica vista panorámica) y se escucha claramente el sonido del mar. La cocina está totalmente equipada y me sentí como en casa mientras cocinaba para mi familia y amigos. No fue difícil tener acceso a los ingredientes que necesitaba ya que el condominio Hermosa del Mar está muy cerca de supermercados donde puedes encontrar todo lo que necesitas. También hay una oferta de restaurantes bastante variada que da diferentes opciones para elegir. Lo mejor de la ubicación es que en pocos minutos puedes caminar a la playa. El condominio es bastante tranquilo, lo que le permite descansar sin interrupciones. Lo más importante, me sentí completamente seguro, en un ambiente muy cómodo y sofisticado. El área de la piscina está muy bien cuidada, la temperatura y la calidad del agua invitan a hacer ejercicio. Realmente disfruté nadando en una piscina grande y con poca gente. Finalmente, la decoración de la casa está finamente seleccionada para hacer de la experiencia un agradable estímulo para los sentidos.

Top notch rental with priceless views… good location, serene beaches and low key spot with 10 min drive to more festive Coco beach… would definitely recommend this unit and this area in Hermosa beach

We loved the penthouse, so clean, spacious, full equipped, an outstanding ocean view, with spectacular sunsets, beach is a walking distance and it’s very safe. We love visiting Hermosa beach!

Great place

Great location, walking distance to beach, stores and restaurants. We did have a rental car also but could have survived without it. Large condo plenty of room for family of eight. Patio was awesome for sunrise and sunset

Amazing Condo

Spacious and beautifully decorated. Huge terrace where we enjoyed coffee at sunrise and cocktails at sunset. Well equipped kitchen for cooking and many tasty, reasonably priced restaurants nearby. Local people are super friendly and welcoming to visitors. Really wonderful.

Great Playa Hermosa setup

Spacious, well-maintained property. Condo is a great setup with nice grounds and easy beach access. Local manager was very easy to work with (once I downloaded Whats App). Our family is already making plans to return & would stay here again.

Penthouse with a view

What a great location from Liberia airport. We made it a long weekend with another family and had access to the 2 pools and local restaurants. The small grocery across the street enabled us to do some cooking and order pizza for the kids. Beds and linens were wonderful as well as the local people. Great price for amenities and resources.

Beautiful Facility

Great location. Gardens and pools were well maintained. Super close to the beach, supermarket, and restaurants. Monkeys were swinging from the trees below our balcony. They were so much fun to watch. Recommend visiting, you will not be disappointed.

Like an All Inclusive

Secure gated community beautifully landscaped. Large open grassy area for my kids to run around. They loved the playground and swing right next to the pool. We had our own covered parking spot which was real plus. Only a short walk to the beach. Really loved our stay.

Relaxing

Hermosa del Mar is such a peaceful place. The fountains at the building entrance, the fresh air, the warm weather took away any stress we had from the journey. Everything we needed for the week was within one city block. When we had to leave, Esteban, the building manager, arranged for a taxi back to the airport. Loved our visit.

Beautiful unit, great location in Hermosa

We loved our stay in Hermosa. The unit is gorgeous and as advertised and walking distance to the beach. Property managers were very responsive and helpful especially because I needed an early check in. We did have issues with wifi so if you need wifi for your stay I would have them confirm it works. Be sure to check out coco vequez and la casita restaurants nearby. Will definitely stay again.

Playa Hermosa is our favorite beach

Just a short cab ride from Liberia. Beach is quiet. Great for swimming. Beautiful penthouse in a modern well-maintained building. Large supermarket with everything you need is just a ten minute walk down the main street. Sign up for tours, snorkeling, jet skis right on the beach. We love it here.

Amazing Penthouse with Stunning Ocean Views and Sunsets!

I LOVED my stay at Hermosa del Mar. The property had everything we needed--two quiet pools, a playground, and a well-equipped modern gym. The walk to the beach took about 5 minutes on a street lined with local restaurants (and a little supermarket). There are 5 restaurants along the beach where you can enjoy tasty Costa Rican dishes while watching breathtaking sunsets. Wherever we ate, we were treated like family. Playa Hermosa is quiet, peaceful, and rustic--not as chaotic as other nearby beaches...it's an amazing place to relax and unwind. We DEFINITELY will visit again!

Wonderful condo!

Our family of four (two teens) enjoyed our stay in this condo - plenty of room to spread out, nicely appointed and once you were inside, it was lovely. The condo is inside a locked, gated entry and the grounds very nice. The outside neighborhood is a very run down area, the walk to the beach was not pleasant. Once you got to the beach it was beautiful. The condo and the beach were great - took off stars only for the location.

Lovely Penthouse

Brought my daughter and her friends for a sweet sixteen celebration. There weren’t a lot of tourists, and the beach was quiet and safe. The girls loved hanging out at Aquasport. We went ziplining and saw dolphins and whales on an afternoon cruise. The penthouse was roomy and a perfect place to chill out after a long day. Be sure to watch the sun go down from the rooftop patio...

Absolutely loved staying here!

The view of the ocean and mountains from the gorgeous, spacious patio is amazing. Not to mention the rooftop lounge! The location can’t be beat. Just a short walk to the beach where there are fun restaurants and bars. A convenience store is just across the street to grab anything you need. You never need to drive! The complex is great with beautiful pools and a gym. The penthouse is so clean and comfortable. The WiFi was excellent, and I had no trouble on a Webex call to the USA! I cannot wait to return to this stunning location.

I love Costa Rica!

Hermosa del Mar is an oasis in the middle of paradise. Property is secure and impeccably maintained with lush gardens and beautiful flowers. I really enjoyed hearing the howler monkeys each morning while on my beach run. Nice lap pool and gym if you like working out. Paw House Roasters up the street has a great selection of coffees and amazing quiche. Kids loved the pastries. Right next door is an Urgent Care…thankfully didn’t need it, but nice to have one so close. Dinner at Ginger Restaurant is a must. Absolutely fantastic!

Great Vibe

Huge penthouse with open floorplan and vaulted ceilings. There was plenty of room for the whole family. Just loved sipping coffee in the morning from our own little private terrace away from the kids. The beach was perfect with clear water, refreshing temperature, and a gentle surf with no undertow. On your way to the ocean, be sure to stop by the restaurant, Coco Viquez, right across the street. Sebastian, the owner’s son, will take good care of you. Great food at a reasonable price. We had so much fun my son cried when we had to leave. Highly recommended!

underpromised and overdelivered - fantastic!

This penthouse surpassed all expectations. Family of four accompanied by two guests, everyone had their own room, tons of space, the balconies and rooftop provided exceptional vistas every sunset and drinking opportunity... As frequent travelers were rather accustomed to nice places, this place went beyond. The decorations were tasteful and culturally. Interesting, the book selection better than our local library, every culinary tool imaginable… And the coffee which was provided was a nice touch as well. The only singular thing that went wrong was that the laundry broke, and the dishwasher did not work terribly well, but those were minor inconveniences, which the manager took care of very quickly. Would not hesitate to go again. Thank you for a lovely stay

Enormous Space

We love Playa Hermosa and visit often. We were able to fit our entire extended family into the spacious Hermosa Vida Penthouse. We love to cook, and the kitchen was well equipped. The property was safe and secure for our grandchildren. They loved the pools and play areas. There was a problem with the A/C and the onsite team repaired it immediately. The rooftop deck was amazing with beautiful mountain and ocean views. The town was quiet and peaceful—perfect for our family visit. It was only a short drive to Tamarindo for great surfing and horseback riding. We highly recommend staying at Hermosa Vida Penthouse on your next trip to Costa Rica.

Location, location, location!

There was ample space for our two families to enjoy a wonderful vacation in Costa Rica. After a deep-sea fishing trip, the boy’s catch provided us dinner for days. Frozen drinks poolside was a daily activity. The ocean temperature was ideal—refreshing and relaxing. We tried to find a restaurant where the food was not amazing…we failed. What a treat watching the howler monkeys raid the mango trees. We did some shopping at nearby Playa Coco, but preferred Playa Hermosa for its relaxing atmosphere. So many activities: jet skis, horseback riding, hot springs, hikes, zip lining, sunset cruises. We did them all. Such a wonderful place!
