  • Welcome to our lovely 2 Bedroom Villa with all the great amenities for a terrific vacation . Detached casita that offers privacy and 24 hour security . Modern, full service kitchen with all necessary appliances. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed with lots of storage and TV. The second bedroom has a queen bed with additional storage. Large living room have a new large screen TV's with Satellite/ cable TV and WI-Fi
    There is a large covered patio to relax, dine or enjoy the awesome sun sets. The beautiful plunge pool is adjacent to the patio. Guests have full access to four community pools, tennis court, basketball court, and games room . The beach is a 5 min walk or you can jump on of the complimentary transporter vehicles that will take you anywhere on site. There are a number of secluded beaches, all within a hours drive. The main pool has a great swim-up bar. There are a number of small convenience stores on site. The Villa is within the safe gated community of Villa Sol with 24 hr. security personnel. Secure parking for your vehicle. You can take a Taxi or a short 15 min. walk to local grocery stores or shops.
    The Villa is is a short 20 min. drive from the Liberia airport on new paved roads.
    There are five National Parks, all within a couple hours drive, including Lake Arenal, which boasts a volcano, hot springs and a world class spa. there are a number of other volcano close by. Also nearby are deep sea fishing, first class scuba diving, snorkeling, four wheeling and zip lines, just to mention a few. Within a hours drive there a waterfalls, game parks, and river adventures.

Nos encantó la estadía en esta casa 😊. Es amplia, cómoda y muy bien equipada. Tiene dos cuartos, un baño, una sala y comedor espaciosos, además de una cocina con todo lo necesario para pasar unos días sin preocuparse por nada. La zona de lavado y la piscina privada son un gran plus, perfectas para relajarse y disfrutar. Algo que realmente apreciamos fue lo limpia que estaba la casa. Se nota que la fumigan con frecuencia, porque no había ni un solo insecto. También nos encantaron las cortinas del corredor, que dan privacidad en todo momento y hacen que el espacio se sienta aún más acogedor. Como detalle a considerar (aunque no tiene que ver con la casa), hay bastantes mapaches en la zona; cuando huelen comida se acercan y pueden ser algo insistentes, por lo que recomiendo dejar cerradas las puertas y ser muy cuidadoso con los desechos. Sería genial si el complejo Villas del Sol implementara un plan de reciclaje, así todos los huéspedes podrían separar los desechos y ayudar un poco más al medio ambiente 🌿. En general, ¡una excelente opción para descansar y disfrutar! ❤️

Great place, patio and pool was amazing. Walk to beach in about 10 on property. The massages on the beach were amazing. Staff great.

Amazing home! Super pool. There are raccoons around but you can lock your doors to keep them outside. Will stay there again.

Excellent stay in a great location! Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. If anything, the photos undersold some aspects. The short walk or shuttle ride to the beach was perfect. The only thing we could think of to improve would be clarification that there is no washer/dryer in the unit. You need to pay the facility for laundry services with a fee per clothing item. Thank you for sharing your villa. It was the perfect way to end our first trip to Costa Rica!

Great communication with John. The villa is older but very adequate. The plunge pool was too cold for me but my partner enjoyed it. We were in the best location in the resort. Great views and on a quiet little road. Very close to the main pool. The ping pong table there was a pleasant surprise.

We had a great stay at this lovely villa. Very friendly staff on site with shuttles that took us from the reception to our spot. Lovely pools and restaurants on site for easy entertainment in the evenings with a little one. We spent most of our time at the nearby Playa Hermosa beach and enjoyed lovely sunsets on our private patio. Property manager Cinthia was very friendly and helpful as well. We would absolutely recommend this place for others traveling to the area.

We forgot to sign the guest book but we had the most amazing time! Love that it’s owned by fellow BCers :D. The cabana is the perfect size, plenty of room with great AC and its own pool. The views are stunning and it’s so close to the restaurants/ pool bars/ beaches. Would recommend to anyone. So easy to find and the staff and amenities were fantastic.

Loved this location. Beautiful patio with a little pool, swing and hammock with views of the ocean and Playa Hermosa. There were a couple of broken items in the home when we arrived, we contacted the property manager and she came within 2 hours with brand new products. The only thing I would add would be for them to provide ant traps. There was quite a lot in the kitchen. Thank you for a lovely and comfortable few days.

Amazing villa close to the beach

Villa Rica offered everything we needed as a family for a relaxing get away. Kids definitely appreciated the pool and hammock and with fully stocked kitchen we could eat in when we rather stay in and relax. Villa is located in a gated community with its own pool and jacuzzi and is walking distance from the beach or you can use the shuttle. We really enjoyed our stay.

Having lived in Costa Rica for the last 27 years, we have been to a fair share of resorts and condos. Villa 44 was just what we needed for a quick getaway from the interior rain forest where we live. The Villa was super clean, had everything kitchen-wise we needed, the owners and manager were responsive. The little pool out front and that glorious hammock, hit just right!We enjoyed the pool and the magnificent Sunset, from La Bahia, which is a quick walk. The shuttles were fun and convenient. Overall its one of the best beach excursions our family of 5 ever had here and I thank the thoughtful owners and management for providing everything we would need to cook and maintain our little group over our quick stay. We will certainly be back!

The unit was fine, well located within the complex, great view, well stocked, and a shuttle to and from the beach. If you are looking for a relaxing stay, it's great. But if you want to surf, snorkel, zip, tube, etc. those things are far.
