Beautiful outside, inside not so much.

The views are unbeatable — truly the highlight of our stay. The property management company was fantastic and very responsive. We ran into a few issues, and they addressed most of them quickly.That said, the home itself really needs some love and attention. Two exterior doors didn’t lock, several areas of trim were moldy, there was visible wood rot around the larger windows, and a strong musty smell throughout.Dont look up, you will see areas of water penetrating through the Sheetrock. Extremely low water pressure.The home feels stuck in its circa-2000 style and condition — for the amount of money being spent, it really should be updated. Compared to a nearby home our family rented — which was modern and updated — this property felt dated and at the end of its life. Upon arrival, I noticed about 30 small ants on the kitchen counter and wall. By that evening, large red ants were all over the sink, counters, and walls. This continued for our entire stay. Management sent someone to spray bleach, which helped briefly, but the ants returned within hours. We ended up storing bread and snacks in the microwave and only cooked once, as I felt too uncomfortable to use the kitchen.Other issues included very poor water pressure and the lack of even basic condiments. While the views are unbeatable and the property management team was great, the house itself needs significant updates, repairs, and pest control before I could recommend it.

Highly recommended!

Absolutely wonderful stay with Zindis Group in Costa Rica! The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and even better than the photos. The views were breathtaking—sunsets, ocean, and lush greenery all around. Check-in was seamless, the team was responsive and welcoming, and the location was perfect. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful!

This property is breathtaking, top of the hill looking over Playa Hermosa. The house is STOCKED with everything you need for a perfect stay, lots of towels, dishes, cutlery glassware! The pool is spectacular. The entire first floor has amazing views and air conditioning. Lots of outdoor seating available to watch the sunset. We will be back!

Stunning views, amazing house

We loved the house from the moment we arrived. It’s located in a gated community. The home is also gated. Once you walk in the views are stunning. It’s also big enough for everyone to have a really nice room with views. 4 of the 5 bedrooms are very large and comfortable. Check in was great and easy. The host was very accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this home

Family Vacation

We have never stayed in a VRBO that was so incredibly well equipped. The Zindis staff from reservations to concierge, property manager and housekeeping were outstanding. Beautiful setting, wonderful house.

Top of the world experience

Property is beautiful! Plenty of space and areas for large groups. Everything you could think of in kitchen and towel supply. Edgar was very friendly and easy to communicate with. I would give him 5 stars for being helpful and very kind. We had nine firefighter/pilot friends and spouses. everyone had a wonderful time. Pool area was our fav spot.

House was perfect for our family. Everyone had their own bedroom. View was amazing. Edgar the house manager was very accommodating and Carman the housekeeper was terrific. The Zindis management team handled everything for us especially Javier. Highly recommend this team.

Lifetime Memory

Our trip started before we arrived at the property. We received communication prior to landing and the property manager was waiting for us at the pick up spot. Armando took us up to the property and upon entry, the view is breathtaking. Pictures don’t really do it justice. The entire family was blown away. We received a quick tour of the house And it’s many amenities. They have everything, board games, cards, Bluetooth speakers, etc. each room has a bit of a unique view, each one very cool to see. The location is secure, but always centrally located to easily access multiple restaurants and attractions. Hands down the best VRBO rental I’ve ever experienced and for me and my family, we created a lifetime of memories. Absolutely outstanding, must book!

Wonderful Vacation in Playa Hermosa

This property is exactly as described and deserves its 5-star rating! This was easily our nicest VRBO rental, ever. There were There were 8 adults in our group, and the house was more than big enough for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. The view from the infinity pool is just the best (especially at sunrise and sunset), the kitchen is big and very well-stocked (for all the cooks in our family), the beds are comfy, the maid service is great, and there are plenty of towels, beach chairs and other items. There's great birdwatching on the back terrace, too. The beach is also amazing, with plenty to do - catamaran sails, snorkeling with sea turtles, beach massages, jet ski rentals, a beach bar and restaurant, etc. Rent this place, you won't regret it! We wished we were staying longer, and hope to come back again someday.

Casa Cole

Casa Cole has an amazing view! The house worked great for our family of 6 with comfortable bedrooms and plenty of space. The Zindis group was excellent at assisting our family with any question or need. Our only “complaint” is that there was no where to walk/run and no close hiking or walking paths. Overall we loved our stay!

Pura Vida

We had an amazing trip to CR and The Top of the World Estate is a fabulous place to stay! This property holds the most breathtaking view that we’ve ever seen. Our party of 9 (we had the guesthouse too) enjoyed all of the adventures that CR has to offer during the day and we couldn’t wait to get back to enjoy the house in the evening. We cooked family suppers most nights and the house had all the supplies we needed for large, great meals. There was an abundance of pots, pans and cooking utensils. Heading to the beach, we had plenty of towels, umbrellas and chairs. The house manger was always available for every question we needed answered. We never ran out of bath towels and the pool always felt amazing. A sweet cleaning lady came and helped keep everything tidy. That was a true blessing for a house rental! The gifted bottles of wine, laundry detergent and extra toilet paper did not go unnoticed. We learned the term pura vida on our CR vacation!

Just book it!

This home and the views are even more breathtaking than the pictures!! The views when you enter the home and from almost every room are beyond amazing. We had 9 in our group and the home was perfect. It has everything you could possibly think of… beach chairs, umbrellas, yoga mats, pool towels, washer/dryer, and a fully stocked kitchen. The home is just a few minute ride to the beach and restaurants. Check in and out was easy and Edgar and Carmen were great making sure we had everything we needed. Book this home - it will be the highlight of your trip!!

Zindis dropped the ball on our stay! NO support for things gone wrong. They're NOT doing their job!

The house is fabulous and in a stunning location. The experience in it was poor due to Zindis' lax management! There were 10 of us in our group. Our house manager told us we would have DAILY cleaning. 1. The 1st afternoon, we told the house manager that we were VERY low on laundry detergent. She said she would have the housekeeper take some the next day. 2. So, we left the door into the house from the garage unlocked, BUT she didn't show, so: • Garbage was accumulated, • The kitchen and bathrooms weren't clean or beds made, • there was no laundry detergent, • shampoo and conditioner were never replenished , and • the ice maker was NOT making ice—who ever heard of a tropical vacation without ice?!?! 3. With 10 people on a very active vacation, we needed all that regularly. Even though the housekeeper did not return, the manager took some detergent the 3rd day so we could at least wash pool towels. She called an appliance repair man who fixed the ice maker to some extent. We expected that, having not come the second day, the maid would surely come the 3rd. After a long, active outing, though, we returned to a 2nd day of no cleaning service. When we contacted Zindis’ house manager, she called the housekeeper, then told us she had the week of Santa Semana off. She offered NO further explanation, apology, or suggestion that other cleaning would be arranged, despite telling us we would have daily cleaning. Finally, the last 2 days (even Easter), the housekeeper arrived and attempted to clean. The shocks are that: • if the housekeeper or the owners had told Zindis she was planning on taking the week off, Zindis did NOTHING for alternative cleaning yet told us it would be daily, • when we told them she did not arrive the 2nd day, there was NO apparent effort to have the house cleaned the next day. • In fact, when she continued not to arrive, the “manager” finally told us that “the maid is a gift from the owners, usually has a cost of $35 per cleaning but since is Easter week, unfortunately they give her the weekend off.” We had arrived on Tuesday, so the next days were clearly NOT “the weekend” yet we received NO cleaning on them! NOR was there ANY mention from Zindis that there would be no cleaning services either of those 2 days • The only door that worked to the pool is off the track & difficult! Between that & the ice maker, it is CLEAR that Zindis is NOT examining the house for ongoing maintenance and repairs. nor giving owners their $ worth.

Great place and location

We really enjoyed our time at Casa Cole. It was everything we hoped for. The location is great, super close to Playa Hermosa and Playa Penca and a quick drive to Coco for more restaurant choices. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful 14 days

Totally enjoyed our stay. Infinity pool with views. Interior rooms are very nice. Quite windy “on the top of the hill” On Costa Rican beaches one can snorkel but there really isn’t anything to see. Just enjoy long walks and swimming on the beaches.

Paradise in Playa Hermosa

This place was wonderful! Zindis was extremely easy to work with and extremely friendly and helpful during the entire process. The house was even better than the pictures, it is well-maintained and very clean. We had 5 adults and 4 kids with plenty of space and privacy. The pool was the kids' favorite part! Getting to and from beaches or restaurants was super easy, maybe 5 min via car. Edgar was a very gracious host and was very available. I would highly recommend this come and the Zindis group. They really went over the top to make our trip spectatular.
