Jubilee Creekside Cottage - Enjoy the Creek, Hot Tub and Outdoor Fire Pit

  • If you are looking for a secluded and tranquil retreat, Jubilee Creekside Cottage is perfect for you! Nestled in a heavily wooded area at the end of the street, this home offers privacy and quiet, ideal for a relaxing getaway.

    Enter the living room with a 42" Flat-screen television offering Roku for streaming you favorite programming. There is also a Blu-ray system and an electric fireplace with beautiful stone face. There's plenty of seating with a leather couch, oversized leather chair and a rocking chair.

    The kitchen is equipped with a full size refrigerator, stove top and oven, as well as a dishwasher. There is also a microwave and standard drip coffee maker. In the closet you will find a crockpot for the day you want dinner to be ready when you return home! Between the kitchen and living space is a dining area with room for 8 guests.

    On this main floor, there are two guest bedrooms. The first features a queen bed, while the second has two twin beds. These bedrooms share a standard full bathroom with a shower/tub combination. The twin room has a television.

    Upstairs is the master queen bedroom with a private bath where you will find a walk-in shower (no bathtub) and a private deck. The master bedroom has it's own television. Just outside this master bedroom is a loft area that overlooks the downstairs living room. There is a small futon in the loft area and an oversized twin roll-away bed in the master bedroom closet for children or additional guests.

    The hot tub is located on the back deck where the serene surroundings make it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. The outdoor firepit is the perfect place to gather for storytelling and s'mores. Outdoor furniture ranges from swings and chairs to a picnic table and benches.

    The highlight of Jubilee Creekside Cottage is the outdoor space and the creek. Just a short walk down to the water from the outdoor firepit area and you are submerged in nature and the sounds of the flowing water.

    • Minimum Age Requirement: Jubilee Creekside Cottage is available to families or to guests 21 years or older.
    • Parking: Space is available for 4 vehicles.
    • Access: The road is gravel and driveway is paved
    • Pets: Pets are not allowed at Jubilee Creekside Cottage.
    • Security: There are outside cameras at both the front and back doors.
    • Location: 6.5 miles to downtown Helen.

We enjoyed our stay at the Jubilee Creekside Cottage. It was a nice cottage tucked away in the mountains. Would stay again in the future. Thank you for the memories.

The cottage was very cozy and decorated for Christmas. It wasn’t far from Helen. We enjoyed the waterfalls in the area, wish we had more time. I’m sure we will be back.

The place was clean. It had everything we needed. So close to Helen. Loved the location. Made smores on the firepit. Great hot tub. If ever back in Helen I would stay with you. Thank you so much. You are a wonderful host.

Loved the Cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was perfect it was clean and cozy.The only thing that was wrong was the hot tub was nasty no chemicals in it so it had that mold smell and stuff floating in it. But all and all I would stay there again.

The cabin itself is very nice and beautiful scenery. We loved the sitting area next to the creek. My issue was the cleanliness. The beds were clean and comfortable, the bathrooms were clean but there was dust and cobwebs everywhere throughout the house. The plates, cups and utensils all had stuff stuck to them. We had to prewash everything we used. The deck was caked in layers of dust and cobwebs. We had to clean all the chairs and tables off so we could try to enjoy the outside. The hot tub lid had a very strong mildew smell that made it very hard to enjoy sitting in the hot tub.

Great Mountain Stay

Reviewer Comments: We had a great time, first time for the kids to see the mountains, they really enjoyed the creek down the hill, the house was decorated in Christmas decor and felt cozy. 13 min drive to Helen. Zero issues. Would definitely recommend.

Jubilee Creekside Cottage - A delightful place!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the Jubilee Creekside Cottage for a few days and invited our daughter, son-in-law and grandkids to join us. This place was such a great match for our desires. We loved the privacy and seclusion and yet easy access to Helen and Unicoi State Park. We enjoyed the outdoor and indoor spaces especially the creek, swings, and mountain views.The property description was accurate, the amenities were good and the photos authentically matched the beauty of the place. The preperty was clean and well-maintained. The inside was spotless and decorated so nicely. My only suggestion was that it seemed time to have the house, gutters and some sidewalks pressure washed again.The management provided good customer service and returned our calls promptly. I have already recommended this property to friends and would love to come back in the summer to hang out and enjoy the beauty.We enjoyed cooking in the well-stocked kitchen, playing games provided and exploring the outdoor spaces. We visted Unicoi State Park which is beautiful. We spent time in the shops in Helen and enjoyed eating at Cafe International and snacking on the pastries from Hofer's Cafe and Pastry shop.We spent time brousing in Wonderland Antiques and Curiosities. (The owner and employees were very kind.) The grandkids really enjoyed the fudge at one of the candy shops on main street.We greatly enjoyed our stay and would like to return in the summer if we are able.I think Jubilee Creekside Cottage is quite a find and was a true blessing to our family.

Much left to be desired

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really appreciated the baby gate; it was a big help during our visit. The furniture was comfortable, the location was easy to access, and we were grateful for the internet and Roku access, especially for keeping the baby entertained.That said, I did want to share a few pieces of feedback regarding the listing and our experience. While the cabin was generally cozy, we were a bit disappointed that it didn’t fully match the online description. We specifically booked this property because of the “creekside” listing, but unfortunately, the creek isn’t visible from the cabin, which was a letdown—especially for the two elderly guests we brought who had hoped to enjoy that view from the comfort of the house.The photos also gave the impression of a brighter, more airy space, while we found the interior to be quite dark, and there was some mildew visible on the walls upstairs. Additionally, you may want to have someone look at the dishwasher—it made a loud noise while running, almost like a generator.One final note: the trash situation was a bit challenging. With a baby and elderly guests, we had some waste that needed to be thrown away more frequently. Since there’s only one indoor bin and we weren’t able to leave bags outside due to animals, having to wait until we had two full bags (or drive 15 minutes to dispose of them) wasn’t very practical. Lockable outdoor bins could help with thatt
