The property listing is misleading. It’s advertised as a 6-bedroom, but it’s actually 5. After booking, I was informed there’s a guest suite on the lower level rented separately to other guests. This means you’re sharing outdoor spaces like the grill, patio, backyard, and dock—not private, as expected.While the host was responsive, I received excessive emails and texts about my stay and ETA, which felt overwhelming and unnecessary.Inside the home, I discovered a locked door that led to the guest suite, filled with cigarette smoke. Knowing strangers were staying inside the same structure made the experience uncomfortable, especially with the guest constantly on the dock, making it feel like we couldn’t fully enjoy the space.Cleanliness was disappointing—dog hair on the floors, and the home clearly needs pest control. We encountered roaches, flies, bees—both alive and dead. The house only had 3 TVs for a large group.For 800 a night, I expected privacy, cleanliness, and the full property. While the stay was mostly quiet, the experience was unsettling, and I wouldn’t book this property again.
