  • The First Floor 1800 square foot space provides a Great Room perfect for entertaining and stretching out. Set right off the Savannah Square you have a blend of retail and residential neighborhoods nearby for comfortable walks. Four Bedrooms offer space for family members to have privacy while sharing a large common living space. Known to locals as the "Reporter Building" this was built in 1892 to house the newspaper printing press and was converted to living quarters in the last 20 years.

The hosts had muffins, coffee and extras for breakfast. Rooms were all clean and good. We love staying there for the holidays.

Host was very accommodating and fast to respond. The location was great for food and shopping. The house is a historical building, but it was so cool. I love the big tall ceilings even though the temperature was freezing all the time we were there the house was always warm. The kitchen is very tiny but usable. I would definitely stay there again. My only problem was the beds are super firm.

The living area is large and comfortable. Plenty of beds and spaces to sleep. Cool building and a good location by the town square to grab something to eat.

We love the Reporter!

This hidden gem is truly something! Spacious enough for family gatherings, cozy enough for 2. The history of the space has been preserved so well & The owners give you little snippets of the area history all around the home. We always look forward staying here!
