I liked the staff. Especially Rico. He was a big hit with our 20yo kids. They bonded very well. He definitely was a highlight.

What an amazing place!!! From the moment we arrived we were treated extremely well by the staff. It was truly outstanding. We could not have dreamed of anything better. The nightly music was amazing. The spa services were top notch. The cook staff took very special care of my dietary needs (gluten and dairy allergy). The bure we stayed in was beyond description…absolutely stunning. It was exceptionally nice that it was such a small intimate resort. The care the staff provided was outstanding. We highly recommend this beautiful resort

We stayed at Savasi Island Resort for our honeymoon and there were many things we absolutely loved. The staff were absolutely incredible just to name a few who made our stay extra special was Issac, Roberta, Rico, and Kele (who made the best coffees!), the food was amazing 10/10 and I am a very picky eater and loved every meal, and the location is absolutely beautiful. These aspects truly made our stay worthwhile and memorable. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with the condition of our bathroom, especially for a resort advertised and priced as 5-star and according to their website is the #1 boutique hotel in Fiji. The toilet seat was broken, the shower door did not close properly, and the floors, shower tiles and grout were visibly dirty, discoloured and poorly maintained. There was also deteriorating grout/sealant around the shower. I have included photos as they best demonstrate the condition. For a 5-star resort, and particularly on our honeymoon, we expected a bathroom that was clean, well maintained and fully functional. It is disappointing because everything else about the Savasi Island Resort was wonderful. However, the bathroom simply did not reflect the standard or price we paid. I would appreciate management contacting us to discuss appropriate compensation for this aspect of our stay.

A beautiful place, really good food. There is no pool and not easy to get into the sea especially at low tide. Other than that it is an excellent place to stay

Beautiful location. Amazing staff. Hard to imagine it being possible, but the food almost trumped the scenery. Snorkelling in Natewa Bay is a must. Incredible place.

Beautiful setting. Food is good and decent but small portions. The villas are nice with the private pool. Staff are friendly. Plenty to do but all excursions are chargeable. Lots of mosquitos, bugs due to its natural setting.

We had an amazing stay; the property is beautiful and very private and quiet. We loved the villa with the plunge pool and view of the ocean, and the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and lunch/dinner were different every day. We had spa treatments that were arranged upon arrival, and I also organized diving with Koro Sun Dive very easily that leaves right from the resort. 10/10 would recommend for a relaxing, peaceful, private getaway in paradise.

The staff makes you feel as part of their family. When they say welcome home upon greeting you after your serenade you understand exactly what they mean! The food and service are top notch! Perfect place for a romantic getaway. The going away song made me tear up as I knew it was leaving my new family!

I cannot express sufficiently in words, the true perfection of this place. Every day was a day spent in paradise with absolutely amazing staff, beautiful food and an atmosphere of pure ‘family’ and ‘love’. The attention to detail and the welcome we received throughout our stay made it extremely difficult to leave. Thank you each and every one of you, for making our time together so very special, we’ll definitely be back but with the kids next time .. until then, ‘vinaka vakalevu‘

Magical place

Sawasi is a magical place, with such a beautiful natural setting with lots of "secret paths", rock outcroppings on the ocean shore, canals to kayak on, exotic birds and bats flying at dusk, beautiful flowers, amazing food, wonderful people! We stayed on Serenity, an old refurbished cruise ship. Nice experience but the Serenity could benefit from an upgrade (carpets, etc). The bed was very comfortable, sheets, towels, high quality. We had a great time and rated it 5 stars.

Paradise

Overall an amazing place to stay. Lunch and meal service are not restaurant style and you have to place order for what you want for lunch and dinner during breakfast meal. The food was absolutely amazing. Definitely fine dining meals for lunch and dinner. The pools are not heated so pretty cold. The staff a lovely. Everyone is super friendly and so accommodating. Booking through hotels.com doesn't necessarily get you a cliff side villa overlooking the ocean and you may instead get one by the lagoon. I would definitely book again.

This place is phenomenal. My wife and i spent 5 perfect days at this resort. We have been fortunate to travel the world and the staff at Savasi is clearly the best we have ever encountered. The food is fine dining quality. The breakfast menu stays the same but there are many choices. The lunch and dinner menu changed everyday we were there. The ground were beautiful and well kept. We stayed on the serenity, the ship, or floating accommodation as it is described on orbitz.

If paradise exists, this is it! Set in a breathtaking setting, Savasi Island Resort is one of a kind. I could tell that a lot of thought and work went into every detail of the resort. The staff is attentive, friendly and welcoming. They were all over my baby. They provided an amazing babysitter, Mela, who took great care of him while my husband and I were doing activies. The food was delicious, served three times a day. The resort offers a variety of activities, so we never got bored. There is also a lot to explore in the resort itself. We stayed in the Blue Lagoon, which had an infinity pool and we had a blast! However, there were some mosquitoes and the AC sometimes didn't cool the room enough due to the heat. Also, the resort is more suited for adults than for little ones. We stayed 6 days and wish we had stayed more.

Excellent stay, definitely recommended!

Absolutely brilliant trip from start to finish. The staff are amazing and the location is unreal. The food was great and there was plenty of selection to choose from with meals such surf and turf and roast leg of lamb and the menu changed each day. The mrs is a vegetarian and she was well looked after with vegetarian options. I went fishing and caught tuna and savasi were more than happy to cook this for me which was delicious. The activities staff and activities were great and kept us entertained. The salt river kayaking was so peaceful and a great experience. The resort even has a blow hole accessible by kayak which are provided. This was the second leg of our holiday after staying at the Hilton in Denerau. I am so glad we made the extra flight up to Savasi as this was by far the best part of the holiday. There is a real feel of exclusivity as the capacity is ony about 40 people at the resort. Was such a nice touch that the staff all greeted you and knew your name and genuinely wanted to help you have a great time. The meal in the cave for your last night is such a great touch and really was the icing on the cake for such a great holiday. If you want to experience the real Fiji and its beauty then Savasi and it's surroundings of Savusavu tick all the boxes. We even had a kava ceremony with Isaac who explained the history of Fiji and the tradition of Kava which was brilliant. Thank you to all of the staff for such a great experience. Hope to see you all again soon

Old World charm! Very personal service as the Resort is not humongous in size. Yes, they are building more Villas, but it was a wonderful week in Savusavu, Fiji. From Ma, to Rico, everything was wonderful from the first moment to the last. We definitely will be planning our return trip to this wonderful piece of heaven on Earth!
