“We had an amazing time at the purple door! We wrre able to brimg our fur baby which was a HUGE plus. After reading the reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. I arrived knowing we made a good choice. Its a very cute little place. There was never a claim to be a luxury, upscale rental. Yes there could be a few updates. The air conditioner worked fine for us in a heatwave. “We arrived on a Sunday night and checked out on Friday. Our stay at Blue Town Tidehome was incredible to say the least. We found the property far exceeded our expectations. So much was included with the property, including lawn chairs, kayaks, boogie boards, bikes, etc. The communication with the owners was excellent and very timely. We would definitely recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for a great place to stay. ”

“This property was beautiful, clean, very large. We were able to sleep 17 people very comfortably. The screened in porch was great for relaxing at night. And the yard was large enough for the kids and dogs to hangout and play. The host were very helpful and even took steps before our arrival to make the house more comfortable. I recommend checking out their guide to things to do locally.”

“House was lovely with fabulous views, but AC didn't work. The fans in the hallway told us that the owner knew they have an issue. Upstairs bedrooms were unbearable. Rental agency offered to move us, but the other properties didn't border the water or have of the lighthouse. Requested a discount and never heard back from them. ”
